I was gonna suggest some game, then I realized I simply don’t have anything else that fits. On PS4 so I didn’t experience a few of those such as Splatoon. But the ones I did play (MGS, Witcher, Rocket League, Bloodbourne) were all incredibly well done games worthy of the priase.

I’ll take my gaming blogs without the side of political spout, please.

I’m gonna throw out MGS. The title song, The Phantom Pain was definitely odd as it was a techno song. However, Sins of the Father, as well as some of the accompanying music sounded incredible as well. Roaring Darkness and Shining Lights were really atmospheric and stayed with long after finishing the game.

Is there progression? What are your thoughts on it?

While I primarily identify myself as a PS4 player I can honestly say no console games multiplayer has ever held a long hold on me. While I do enjoy playing HoTS with friends, the majority of console multiplayer games are shooters. Those same shooters are the only ones who’ve decided to forego any single player

That’s 100% of your issue. Wi-FI extenders are notoriously bad. Even with the a perfect signal they often end up having issues routing and passing traffic.

I don’t want to be this guy, but it sounds as if the network issues are on your end. I’ve logged thousands of hours on my PS3 and PS4 and barely ever have connection issues.

It’s junk really. Having played since Alpha I roped in all my friends back in Beta or after launch. Now I’m ostensibly being punished for inviting friends too early. If I cared enough about the Vulture mount I would game the system and not feel the least bit bad about it.

Fun concept. But never ever.

I just bought Dark Cloud without a second thought. That game was the first PS2 generation defining game for me.

I was definitely disappointed with the progression. There are only a small pool of blasters, and no customization. I am kinda sad that the Dice head bragged about how everything could be customized, but really all you’re choosing is a different face model that you’re not looking at in 1p and shouldn’t see much of even

I’d rather read a watered down Kotaku than a competitor. Aside from the JRPG stuff, Kotaku’s reviews and info have always been presented more as a conversation. Often times when reading another gaming site, it’s very poorly organized and reviews are often short and leave out information. I’ve found Kotaku is very easy

Wore this with the radiation plating.. Made Glowing Sea a cinch.

Ordered from Bestbuy. Have yet to receive it either. No updates or info from Bestbuy.. Simply that its waiting for info from UPS.

I’ll agree, being a pretty hardcore Metal Gear fan for the majority of my life, the story was a let-down. It’s a catch 22 for Kojima though. People complained to no end about how long cutscenes were in MGS4. They nix the story in favor of action and alienate fans who enjoyed the Metal Gear Saga, story, cutscenes and

I always felt the Borderlands passes were a decent price for content. For BL2 I believe it was $30 for the four packs and two DLC characters? I found the Mister Torgue expansion hilarious, so it was worth it all in itself.

I own both console and PC versions. The content releases are the same. You won’t miss out on a patch note list aside from the seasons, as mentioned.

The timed missions and tail missions only make this much more evident and annoying. I don’t know how many times I had to restart a “tail X to Y” mission cause I climbed when I was trying to jump.

I want to dislike Evie, I don’t find her attractive nor do I enjoy her pretentious attitude, however her play style and stealth are better. Additionally, they seem to have gone out of their way to make Jacob extra boring, dumb and with a hat.

Wasn’t Hitman delayed? I thought that was even a headline here on Kotaku.
