I had a weird experience with Napoleon Dynamite where I hated it on first watch, enjoyed it whenever I caught it on TV, then got completely put off by the relentless jokes and references that continued for Actual Years.

It was Kevin Smith's fault, right?
Yay! That was my plan but I didn't actually know if it would work or was an actual thing.
My office is celebrating by doubling our workload!
I wish I'd found out about this weeks ago! I'd love to be rejected by Diaz!
My bestie's ex had an Ayn Rand tattoo. I wonder if he still sucks.

Saw Phoenix Forgotten and really liked it, re-watched WNUF Halloween Special, read "Lucrece" by Shakespeare. Only 7 pieces left until I've read his canon!
I just saw it and really liked it; I thought the suspense was built well and didn't find it overly similar to Blair Witch in any of its iterations.
Goths and people super into metal have generally been some of the silliest and most lighthearted people I've met, subculture-wise.
This episode reminded me of how a lot of my friends, post-baby, became really really passionate about breastfeeding - why it's better than formula, the reactions they get in public, etc etc. It always struck me as kind of strange, even though I get that this is the New Reality of their lives and likely one of the more…
Just finished 13 Reasons Why and thought it was merely okay. Great soundtrack, though.
I probably would have loved this show as an angsty teen, but as an angsty adult the only part I 100% enjoyed was the soundtrack.
I also related to his behavior on an anxiety disorder level because sometimes if I'm forced into an unwanted/uncomfortable social situation, especially one where the focus is on me and much as I might try to fight it, my irritability just instantly goes from 0 to 60 and it's very, very hard to hide.
I didn't understand that game at all. Surely literally anyone could've walked past Cheryl and unlocked the door and been like "this party is weird, peace".
Agreed on all fronts. I'm choosing to read some general discomfort with the social expectation of being a boyfriend into his argument with Betty. I'm not asexual or aromantic but I can imagine that's an exhausting aspect of figuring it out.
One of my short stories was accepted into an anthology that I was REALLY hoping it would be! I don't usually get too emotionally invested in acceptances/rejections but I was going to be lowkey devastated if this one was a rejection.
