Personally, I love clicking an article and seeing a bunch of grey boxes and captions. Clarifies everything!

Is there ANYONE in this administration who's actually qualified to be doing what they're doing? Or to speak about anything, ever?
I continue to be kind of surprised by people's surprise at Shosh seeming shallow. Her whole thing throughout the series seemed to be reaching "success" by a very specific metric and kind of buying into the whole "Sex and the City" fairy tale of New York.
I can agree with that, and might urge people who think that way to reconsider. My husband doesn't like punk or Shakespeare (though he does recognize that the Clash is the best punk band, which is correct), and he's a perfectly cromulent partner.
Enthusiasm is such a better motivator than "you can and you must".
It's also just kind of annoying to be the third wheel among people who are obviously flirting with each other, which is presumably why she didn't stick around for the interviews.
I have been experiencing super hero movie fatigue since 2013. Sigh.
Or we could just go back in time and continue My So-Called Life, right?
This made me realize that an awful lot of my favorite movies are from before 1985.
Weird, I was actually thinking this morning about SubUrbia (1996) and how super 90s it was. Disaffected slackers hanging out in a parking lot? Existential boredom and anxiety about selling out? Amie Carey's horrendous haircut that sooo many gals had or wanted? Yep.
I just read the play for the first time this year and it's really grim. I'm glad I read it, in the spirit of being a completist, but I probably won't re-visit it.
I got Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey and am so glad it lived up to the hype! Also finally got KVD ELL in Witches and am ruined for any other black lipstick forever, I think.
Agh! Horrifying. I hope that's the end of it.
I'm alone in the office this afternoon, John Mulaney's comin' to town in a few months, I've got some editing/consulting clients lined up, and I've been writing a very little bit. Huzzah!

Not even just dead weight friends, but people also move away, start working crazy hours, end up being hermits, find new friend groups, break up with people in the group and just kind of phase out, etc. I'm absolutely for this show's core friend group mostly dissolving because it's 100% realistic.
Spin-off that follows Ray's career in city council, please.
And even if Jessa had still decided to pursue the relationship, it would still be a hurtful thing to do, but she would have at least respected Hannah enough to make her aware.
Oh my god, Marnie is EXACTLY that archetype of mean, uptight Buddhist girl who's both pseudo-bohemian and deeply unpleasant to be around.
I think Buffy has gotten a lot of help from the nostalgia filter, whether it's from people who remember it from when it was originally airing or the inherited 90s retro nostalgia from Kids These Days.
