New Cloud Nothings! I had no idea! It's been a terrible week, but this redeems it a little.

Huzzah Propagandhi!

Pokémon is a pop culture thing I somehow managed to miss entirely. Thanks for clearing that up!

Ooh what deck? And yeah, it's kind of intense! I was plugging away at it for a year with a non-Rider Waite deck, got frustrated with how little I was remembering/internalizing, and grabbed a Universal deck. Between using that and doing daily spreads for the past few months, I feel like I'm really catching up.

Grocery store had pre-made vindaloo that I took a gamble on, and it was awesome and spicy (this is the same area and store that ONLY has mild and extra mild taco/salsa anything, so, victory). Grabbed some basmati rice, toasted up some naan, and threw some peach mango chutney on the side. It was great!

I haven't done much writing, but I did get invited to submit to an anthology, so I guess I'd better start.

Healthy eating's going well, tarot reading's going well, my decision to just be a fucking ray of light and stop being such a miserable asshole is going okay.

Inuit is a plural noun! No 's' needed.

I tried mango lassi for the first time last year and it was one of the best drinks ever

My desk is in the room with the microwave and toaster. Great when pizza, cinnamon toast, or butter chicken.

5th edition, as well! I'm going to be a Human Druid, since I was one on a short-lived Pathfinder campaign and am still pretty new to it all :D

That all sounds awful. Perhaps the Kids In The Hall "Bank People" sketch would be cathartic?

My new D&D group meets tomorrow for our first session (the last one was introductions/character creation). I'm excited to see how it goes, and already love my character.

I don't even live in the US (have a lot of American friends and family, though), and I'm feeling this so much. It just kind of colors everything in the background; this is reality, it's really happening, and it's going to effect so many people in so many horrible ways. It's terrible in an immediate, literal sense and

I've been having a hard time getting into anything lately, but finished the poetry book There Are More Beautiful Things Than Beyonce by Morgan Parker, and it was great.

I listened to so much of the Doob growing up, thanks to my Mom. Every time I hear them I'm, like, instantly back in the car we had growing up.

I'm running low on sick days until the new fiscal year, but, really, fuck work. I'm only 2 months into my new position and have already covered for two vacations while plenty of other more experienced colleagues have not. This week, my workload doubled due to the vacation coverage, I was given extra duties in addition
