Degrassi: The Next Class is inexplicably not on Canadian Netflix and I'm so angry I might write my MP.
I wanted to see Autopsy of Jane Doe, but ended up seeing Rogue One. It was good.
I recently watched Breaking Bad for the first time and was amazed at how relatively spoiler free I'd been; I knew some major ones but it didn't ruin the overall experience because of how well it was executed and how much more there was to everything.
Watching this episode prompted me to make toast at 2am. It tasted especially good, knowing that a virtual slave of myself wasn't forced to make it.
San Dimas High School Football Rules!
I watched SATC in my early twenties and have not felt a ton of compulsion to re-watch since the second movie was horrifying and pretty much torpedoed whatever good will the series had built in me.
Thanks so much for the encouragement! I've published in semi-pro and a few pro markets, and gunning for those pro markets is a little intimidating so I appreciate the pep talk :D I hope you have an awesome year!
It's weird, it seems like this is the first year people I know don't really want to party for NYE (myself included). Even (or especially?) in the short memoir essay format. So many young memoir writers are hailed as "the next Didion" but just…aren't. Which is fair, I guess, since Didion's amazing but maybe critics shouldn't also jump the shark on praising these collections.
