Kojak. People think I'm joking or being ironic, but I'm not. It's a legitimately great show. I've watched them all over the past couple of years, and I'm going to start again soon.

Right. And "bees" was money — "honey"

Clearly a contender for movie of the year, even if people don't realize it for at least a few years.

What? When?

I love Cromwell, but I always thought that, based on the books, the perfect Dudley Smith would've been Emile Meyer, who played the corrupt cop Kello in "Sweet Smell of Success."

Just caught the ending of this again on cable. I'm always touched by the moment when …

It's one of Akroyd's career-best performances — I was honestly surprised to find he still had it in him. And the scene where Cusack stares at the baby while "Under Pressure" plays, that scene elevates the movie to a whole other level.

But he was in the middle of a big bike race!

One of the great things about Spider-Man is how he fits (awkwardly) into the MCU. Hell, he tried (and failed) to join the Fantastic Four in his VERY FIRST ISSUE.

I'd love to see Woodbine play a smart, ground-level villain. Hell, after season 2 of Fargo, I'd like to see Woodbine play anything.

Right. That was one of the high points to me. Perfectly set up and executed.

Also, I think Keaton's speech about the big guys versus the little guys might have had some effect. After all, badguy or not, he wasn't wrong, and I'll bet Peter knew it.

Yeah. It's in the first one.

That's a nice spoiler right at the top of the comments thread, Jordan!

Agreed. Of all the characters from the past, I'm finding Bobby in his brief moments to be one of the most compelling. His joy at uncovering his dad's message was quite powerful.

His first appearance when he cried upon seeing Laura's photo was surprisingly powerful. I read some critics who said "Why was he crying? Wouldn't he be over it by now?", but I read that moment as he was crying both for (and about) Laura, but also for all the years that have passed since their time together. It's one

Pre-war. Unless you're talking about World War I.

I love Jeff Bridges, but now all I want to see is this alternate world Jeff Goldblum version of Tron.

Larry Sanders did that with Phil and Brian almost 20 years ago. Er, spoilers.

The reviewer has obviously never had a job in journalism, especially in this century. There's no such thing as a "career journalist" anymore, and anyone still working on a newspaper is looking for some opportunity to jump ship.
