I was an exception to the rule. My middle and high schools had shops with woodworking tools and CNC machines that were part of the preliminary engineering program. We had to take a safety test to participate, and the classes weren’t open to non-program students (magnet school for those familiar). This did help many…
102^2 = 10,404 not 14,400. So the delta between them is actually 203. Still more than 1-2, but not 1000x more.
Love the article. This is the car I learned to drive in, and how I learned to drive manual. It was even featured in my high school yearbook as “the Safari Jeep”. Awesome. I wish more places would do it. Hell, you could offer complimentary electric charging from the panel grid while you shop, or charge a fee and make some $ on the side.
Seriously. We have acres and ACRES of parking lots that could be covered to reduce heat and be used for solar generation. Throw some tax rebates in for malls and big shopping centers and the lots would be covered in these things generating power.
Youtube? Surprisingly lots of them on there and a few channels with them available for specific subjects/themes.
