I don’t know about slicing (but I am no purest, so enjoy whomever does it) but I would appreciate a smaller bagel.  bagel size is ridiculous.  really most things in the US are ridiculous - that’s why I’m always in need of some weight control.

they don’t use pure tallow but they do still add beef tallow flavoring, for what its worth.

I”m with you - I can’t eat much butter cream (and I guess I’m in the very small minority because it seems like most cakes are more butter cream than actual cake).  I preferred whip cream...or how about just plain moist cake au naturale?

I’m with you generally, though fondant (before it became overused) was pretty cool - it made a cake look art deco.

are there other blankets that, in addition to smothering and crushing me, also simulate chocking me?

this would all change w/ high speed rail - and it should change, but we aren’t willing to pay for it.  I had a kid working from me who was from shenzen and routinely took the train to work - he said it took about 55 minutes...that was 300 KM.

I”m with you.  I like real mayo then....not anything from a jar.

I am not a mayo fan generally, but if you make a good creamy sauce (or like an aioli) it is basically...an aioli...so its ok.

open box usually means somebody’s garbage. I think I’d rather get a perfectly fine chair at Staples for 200$ or less (or Ikea)

respectfully, your vision is wrong too (or rather, out of date). companies are already developing under the road chargers that will charge you as you park (and eventually, as you drive). basically like a big wireless Qi charger for your car....once we get a certain mass of car buyers going electric because the prices

mmmmm.....(one of the few Americans who has developed a taste for the stuff)....I wish ....

boo hoo hoo freakin hoo

I get you meant it as a dig - but I don’t watch those shows (not Big Bang either, which sucks) - and frankly, from what I’ve seen, Good Place is at the same level of crapdom. If you find “good storytelling” therein, then more power to you (what is good for you and good for me don’t have to be the same). If your

how about spend it on a recycling robot rather than a tank for the police.

yeah but I wish we would, as a society, start drinking smaller sodas (like the 80z cans they now have). despite not caring a wit what Non-americans think about americas, I have to (sheepishly) admit that our portion sizes are gross...and we are fat and gross....and we dress poorly...its a personal choice for dignity.

never heard of Kevin can Wait. I don’t watch alot of broadcast tv, so sorry. I did try the first 5-6 episodes of Good Place and I found it mostly just another sitcom, w/ the “is it heaven after all” concept thrown in. That turn sounds a little interesting but it didn’t make the show less boring overall (despite the

really? I thought people didn’t get into the Good Place because of weak writing and mediocre plot devices.

i remember when I was youngster in law school era - one of the guys was a whiskey snob and he would only drink the premium stuff (Jameson specifically).... :D.

yes - I totally agree. machines and programs need to work for man (or woman), and we shouldn’t need to scramble around macgyvering everything to work (especially if there is no accountability as to the (1) effect you are having by this program (I mean, is it actually making any sort of a difference....the answer is

Don’t do this, don’t do that. Rules for how to be a good human.  Seriously, my own personal view here is that nothing will ever change the bulk of what people do - you need to work with how people are. We should work on having sorting robots and machines that can get the job done whether a can is crushed or not. And
