This is one of the better looking thigns to come out of Harley in years. I don’t know anything about these, but wonder how they stack up to Zero? With HDs reputation, I’d probably lean towards a Zero if all else equal.

Can’t remember the last time I saw a S12 notchback -- not that the hatches are plentiful anymore either. But they look better -- if I was in the market for an S12 (and realistically I’d love one) it’d have to be the much better looking hatch, with either the turbo or a V6 and manual. Worth spending a bit of money to

This doesn’t seem like one of their better designs. The w213 is classic elegance, this just looks both cheap and gaudy at the same time. Let the badge chasers have the CLA, and keep the E’s dignity.

The early ones (as you posted) are amazing -- they managed to ruin it with the underbite rear end on the facelift (77?).

I’ve always been a big fan of diesels, but at this point hybrids make a lot more sense unless you are ONLY doing long highway trips. Around town with short trips, you won’t even get the diesel up to temp in the winter and won’t see the mpg advantage either. A PHEV will be electric only around town, and still get 40mpg

Big fan of Estoril and other deep blues — my favorite is Mitsubishi’s Fiji blue. I had a 1991 Stealth in this color and for its time, it was absolutely stunning. I can’t think of a car that had the depth of paint at the time...lots of the other deep blues on here are much later.

Seems really high to me, but haven’t tracked these in years. For that money I’d also be considering ex cop caprices if you can find one with lower idle miles.

The price seems right, but its still an automatic. I’d give this a NP if it were a manual at this price. The auto makes it a “meh” fair price, not a great deal and not a poor one.

How much does a Murano hardtop go for in this condition? Because that’s essentially what you’re paying for, although you get less headroom, less trunk space and only 2 doors.

I can smell that interior from here. ND, spend a bit more to get a significantly nicer example and it’ll be worth it.

Took me a long time to realize that the hood prop rod is on the right. It looks like a massive uneven fender gap that only exists on the one side of the car.

They already have regulations, the problem lies heavily in the lack of enforcement. Cops will pull anyone over for heavy tints (and same with inspection fails) but look the other way with the brodozers rolling around, which (I assume?) pass their yearly inspections despite infringement.

The Dinan bits are neat, but for 23k I’d look for a proper e36 hardtop coupe.

Oh yes. “you have to get out of the car to put the top up” is something I’ve heard many times over (it still takes like 10 sec), “its not as sharp as a miata” -- also true, but different characters of cars, etc etc.

I’ve had one for 10 years and its awesome (pic not mine). You either get people who love the styling and raucous nature, or you get the miata and s2k fanbois who will find any excuse not to like it.

I know this isn’t the most exciting car, but I would still like to see it...as delicious as that meat spit looks, where’s the car in all of these? I feel like I’m looking at my mom’s vacation photos.

That sounds like my wife and I car shopping. She is not an enthusiast, and I like weird stuff. The i-Pace actually hits the spot well enough to consider, and I did last summer but couldn’t stomach the thought of an out of warranty Jag for 25k+, even with less moving parts.

I love weird cars and this does not disappoint. I understand the need for a trailer looking at the trunk, but they seem tacky as hell. The body painted rear bumper also doesn’t jive with me - even with the pinstriping, the rear end is just a sea of standard red.

I’ll raise you one: Blob-era pickup trucks
