It’s got a clean title but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been binned. Panel gaps on both front fenders don’t look right to me. The passenger side fender has certainly had some sort of repair or paint work to it (poorly- it’s chipping around the wheel well), and even the trunk doesn’t look quite straight to me but could

In classic GM form, the engine and mechanicals are shared across a number of different platforms. GM has used the LTG engine across a bunch of different models including the camaro, caddillacs, including a bunch of their mass market CUVs. I would be worried about body panels and trim, but the rest is quite a bit of par

Great price and great condition for the price. I had a couple of 300SDs and loved them, always wanted to drive a 350 but never had the chance. I wouldn’t call them fast by any means, but certainly adequately powered, even today. This being a california car, looks to be no rust -- in the northeast you’d be paying

Its certainly a nice example, but 20k puts you in turbo territory. I wouldn’t expect a turbo this nice to be 20k, but then again I woudln’t want to be afriad to drive the thing a little bit.

I always liked the style of these but there are just so many common issues you read about across the board from headgaskets to electronics. I’d probably try and find a LR3 with the 4.4 V8 which (anecdotally) seems to be much more reliable.

I don’t mind these as much as others it seems. It wouldn’t be my first choice (I’d rather a MB SL) but would entertain one. More power would be neat, but I don’t know how the 3UZ can handle it (guessing probably not great)

I agree - regular maintenance on these is going to be...regular. Tires, fluids, wear items. The only wild card is the air suspension which is very well documented and would budget accordingly if it hasn’t been replaced. Coil strut replacements are a grand or so. Other than that its just old age, these are pretty solid

2011* down to the PnS camera tech!

Sourcing a set of OE wheels and taillights would go a long way for this seller. The regular Del Sol still had a targa top right? The only cool thing about this is that it has machinery to automate it?

Hard ND, looks selectively shoddy (see fuel filter), and the mini headlights just don’t work.

If advertisers don’t return, Musk said, “what this advertising boycott is going to do is it’s going to kill the company.”

I think I’d take the gamble on it (after talking down a bit). These can be worth good money in good shape. This one will never be worth a ton, but it is different and in reasonably good shape it seems. Paint is a bit faded, rubber looks cracked and not sure wtf is up with all the interior gloss, but all reasonably

Maybe it’s the weird social media groups I’m in (probably with most of you?), but I see SVXs pop up much more frequently than expected, given the rarity. Most look decent and are around this price. The only weak spot is the transmission, which is well-documented. If this one only has minimal rust, I’d say its a go.

All great cars -- if I had a blank slate and options I’d probably go for the 300ZX. That said, I loved my stealth and had it for 10 years, so I’d have another in a heartbeat.

That’s grey market import (and indeed would be prohibitive). These older imports require virtually nothing to import and title based on the 25-year rule, although YMMV by state.

Driving a 1500hp car doesn’t sound even remotely enjoyable unless its at a strip with drag slicks. Judging from the trophies proudly displayed under the hood, I suspect this is more of a show-off build that gets trailered to and from the destinations along with folding chairs and a timeout doll.

8mpg in a FX35? Good lord, I don’t think I could get that bad mileage in my V8 GC with chunky tires even if I tried. Maybe towing something, but I still get 12mpg with 6klbs on the back.

As someone who does their own work, these are great value. You gotta know how to work on them, and be willing to — but well worth it. I got a W212 E550 this summer for 10k and it has been great. Couple items out of the gate it needed (Starter motor, motor mounts, swaybar links). Motor mounts were a pain, but nothing

the dealers didn’t seem to know much about the EVs they were selling. “I felt like I knew more than they did,” Richards said.

Seems like a well-cared for car — if you’re looking for a Falcon and don’t care about the v8 or extreme originality, this would be one to get. Nice classic cruiser for the family.
