Insurance has also skyrocketed across the board
Good lord that interior is offensive. Whiffs of mid-2000s GM economy car, but worse with stick ons.
For 2009 it wasn’t that bad. Maybe not lux-oriented, but design wise, its reasonably laid out and right on par with competition. I recall driving one, this was pre-touchscreen and the color LCD in the head unit had poor color resolution, etc.
The police had to resist looters and thieves, heard repeatedly directing “hey, hands off! It’s nacho cheese!”
I had an R/T for many years. The ES is less of a goldilocks and more of the ugly duckling that never grows up. The R/T (available with the non-turbo DOHC engine and 5 speed, as this is) is the one to have. Looks better, better equipped, and the twin turbo is just awesome.
Looks like good work and well cared for, so I think a solid NP for someone. 13 grand gets you into some nice MGBs, I’d personally want one in an original color and with the chrome pre-rubber bumpers (or budget for a retrofit). The Gray with no trim just doesn’t really do it for me.
Yes every new car has some orange peel these days. I figured that was given knowledge. This finish looks horrendous in comparison to say, my 2021 grand cherokee which certainly also has orange peel but isn’t going to give such an opaque reflection.
Wow that paint quality is appalling.
ND. The only car I’ve given up on was a 2003 audi with a v6 (3.0, but just next gen from this). Great when running, pretty awful to work on. Every plastic connector will crumble as soon as you touch it. All the wire looms will split and crack. Anticipate losing 3/4 of the skin on your hands working around anything on…
This could have been cool...if it was complete. Put the fuel filler door on for sales pictures at least. And why is the door rail side skirt just a piece of home depot gutter with a few sheet metal self tappers in it? I could see if they were going for that drift-trash riveted look thats been so overplayed the last…
I doubt Mitsu USA would do that, because it would make sense.
Some kids will do anything to get drunk or high. Not a care in the world, no concern or inkling about their future. Don’t forget, we were all young once — some of us made poor choices and didn’t face consequences, some did not make it much further.
My parents had a Pilot when I was moving after college. We fit an entire loveseat in the back, along with other stuff. It’s truly massive. These cars are great...not exciting in any way but good solid minivan SUVs given the transmission is in decent shape and the timing belt has been changed at regular intervals.
The fact that Subaru offered both the 168 horsepower turbocharged mill and manual transmission in its AWD wagon
As for the cause, CSX’s release stated it “appeared” to be “weather related.” Weather in Montgomery County was pretty mild at the time of the derailment, with no precipitation, a temperature of 70 degrees and a 3 mph wind, according to historical data from the National Weather Service.
If you were a really into the 90s drag car scene and don’t want a 79 Fairmont or 79 Malibu I guess this could do. Seems like good condition and a reasonable build if you’re a big mopar guy and live your life 1/4 mile at a time.
So they managed to make a 2017 Infiniti coupe, but a little more ungainly.
The specific tires that came on my 135 M-sport were absolutely horrendous. I think they were bridgestones? They were terrible in almost all conditions in comparison to non-OEMs. I chalked it up to being runflats but good lord were those bad.
Rip out the veggie oil system and you’ve got a winner. Back when restaurants were giving their oil away for free it was a no brainer, but these days you don’t get that for free, never mind the filtering, gelling/temperature issues etc. Run regular diesel and these engines will be happy forever.
