It was fun to drive at the limit but man, everyday it was such a dog. Having to rev to 5k rpms on an uphill stop sign is annoying. And then if you stall it while it’s still cold, it’ll flood. They had SUCH a great opportunity with the MS3 engine (yeah I know it’s a transverse, etc. but they still had the engine at the

My family owned one for about 30 years. Like anything, it’s generally about how you take care of it. It served our family of 4 great, plenty of room and not too bad to tow. Thing must have had hundreds of thousands of miles on it by the time my parents got rid of it a couple years ago, and still looked new. Keep the

We had a popup camper (it was a Jayco), from probably 1992ish that had this allllll over. Or rather it was probably a knockoff since the original design I think is owned by Solo Cups.

That’s exactly the point though. The original countach ushered in the absurd fighter jet spaceship look (which pretty much all the other lambos emulate now, at least in principle). I find this new design to be refreshing and clean as well, but the complete opposite of what something so many people imagine with a counta

I fully support mandated seatbelt wearing, but these things were so annoying. Many were cumbersome and made entry/exit difficult (looking at you, GM):

Same here, after completing most of the game missions/races there wasn’t a whole lot to do. The expansions were okay, I really liked the snow mountain or whatever it was. The stormy island expansion was just kind of the same thing as the main game, just more of it. The FH3 Hot wheels expansion seemed tacky, but if you

Those slingshots are the biggest beg for attention I’ve ever seen. Most of them around me also have blinking stick-on LEDs on every surface and massive spoilers and shit. Supposedly fun to drive, but apparently much better to show off.

I am surprised he doesn’t have scissor doors on it too. If you’re gonna go full moron, go all the way. Stock wheels, no wrap or mods and this would be close to NP territory. Oh and subs in the little trunk that this does have. How loudly do you have to beg for attention?

That 5 Concept looks awesome.

Sure there were really poor designs in the “retro revival” or whatever you might call the phase (looking at you, GM). But there were also some great ones. S197 Mustang and Mini (which I guess since BMC was still making them through 2000, not sure if it’s just an evolution...but the original design was from the 60s),

Soooo this is a Taxi. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great...but how is this any different than a yellow cab? Have they somehow just finagled their way around tokens? I see the T&LC tags on there (Taxi and Limo commission) so I doubt they skirted that (not like NYC would let them do that either). So...taxi?

no no, see these are the effects of the vaccination. My weird cousin in the deep south shared a facebook post that said so. #guineapig #sheeple #electionfraud #stopthesteal #fauci

You know what’s a fucking plot twist? This is posted on Jalopnik AND its a slideshow. I think we should have a best Kinja fails but it would be way too long and crash the site. Could be meta.

If you asked me 20 years ago I would have said design engineer. I know a few (and probably plenty on here too), and it seems to generally amount to a bunch of model work to produce things like interior panel clips.

I wonder how Maine feels about the virtually identical, USDM-spec  Mitsubishi “Van” of the same era? You know, basically just a LHD, gas-only 2wd van that anyone could have bought new and registered....

Thing is, the L300 Delica (the one pictured) a variant of the USDM-spec Mitsubishi “Van” that was sold around the same time.

The injection system on these are a pain, this being pre-OBDII. I had a 1990 M103 powered 300E for a while, and everything was either old vacuum lines or brittle electronic connectors. This was the first car to get the M104, so I’m not sure what would be under there...but I’m guessing it’s a pain to fix. ND. I’d also

Why do we need drama in a racing game? GRID is plenty fun without a heavy story line outside of simple career progression. I enjoyed the original, 2 kinda sucked and lost me.

This is an easy, if tedious, DIY job (I am doing it myself now on my headlights) of simply sanding down and respraying clearcoat

Why not use headlight restore or UV protectant spray? It’s like $1 more. “hacks” for the sake of doing something wrong seems stupid. God I’m old.
