These were great looking cars when they came out and they’ve aged remarkably well too! This one would be the one to have (too bad the v8 never came with a manual). I have a feeling the drive would probably be a bit underwhelming, but it’s cheap.

Well, you can use it briefly until something breaks as they tend to on these
Imagine the disappointment
Yeah, I mean the SS is a pretty fun car to drive. Non-SS pretty much loses the only thing good about it. I don’t see what is so hard to understand about this.
Cool story? My comment was that it’s fun to drive not...*checks notes*... fun to change a headlight bulb?
Have you? I’ve driven a few, not owned. They’re fun...great (super tunable) engine, LSD, 5 speed. The interior is typical GM garbage of the era and it’s still based on a cobalt, but it’s an entertaining driver simply from the engine.
ND — too much for it. The LNF is a great engine, but even the best HHR interior is still an HHR interior. If you want to have fun, get a sky or solstice and do it right. If I absolutely NEEDED a compact wagon, I guess this would be the one to consider?
Where do people even read this stuff? The LNF is extremely tunable. You’re generally rock solid to 400hp on stock internals. A simple tune will bump the power up over 300 to the wheels and 330 ft-lbs. GM themselves sold a performance tune that roughly made those numbers, warrantied.
??? where do you get that from? The LNF (and later turbo DI ecotecs) are pretty solid.
These are an absolute hoot to drive
Pretty much any Jeep stickers. Oh wait, I just hate those. No secret love here. I guess I wouldn’t understand.
Top speed of 60 and a 2 stroke diesel...not something I would want to take across the country. I’d stick with the 4 stroke Int’l school buses
This makes sense, thank you for the explanation!
Not to mention a tax incentive isn’t going to do shit for people who use a standard deduction vs. itemized. I think?
Meanwhile, all of the SCVs have been laid off following the zerg infestation pandemic, and they simply can’t mine enough crystal to keep up with the base expansion.
Holy grail? Come on, there were plenty of MT Aerostars, between this and the “oops I almost burned a garage down by using an angle grinder next to a pool of gasoline” articles, this shit is old man, just old. Tired.
not only that, but look how much room there is in the engine bay!
I currently drive a 93 Delica diesel, 83hp in over 2 tons (4200lbs or so). It’s not fast. But it is geared well! It’s fine around town and except from a dead stop, is fine on the highway up to about 70.
Found the guy who works at a dealer.
