USWAX?

The Spark EV could be had with 400 ft/lbs of torque. I know it’s a chevy spark, but tbh that’s the one I’d have. I’d love to get my hands on one of those power units for all sorts of nefarious activities.

What would you propose the top speed of a car to be?

and it’s probably a bad idea in general to sell a car with a top speed of 174.

Are these tax incentives (and similarly EV incentives etc) only going to matter when one itemizes their tax return? The standard deduction is pretty girthy nowadays, and it takes quite a bit to get to where itemized returns are more beneficial for a lot of folks.

I was in a band in HS and on my way to a pretty important (for the time) show, I pulled out of the driveway and got rear ended as soon as I shifted into first and started going like 5mph. Dude was flying down my street, didn’t even see me until the last second and rammed tf out of my car. Called his buddy of a town

Yeah but the Malibu lights and facelift looked awful. This reminds me almost of a Chrysler 300M of the era, but kinda worse. I think the shittening started before 5th gen.

Ah yes, the spoilerless 4cyl. What a sad representation of the marque.

I really want them to make it an option. As others have mentioned, the jetsons spaceship could be a $199 DLC play. Early 2000s F1 Car, beast of turin, a trombone, every cart sound from super mario kart (and as a bonus, the “impending turtle shell” noise when pedestrian safety kicks in)...the list goes on and on.

you do you, man

Ah yes, the rare beast whose rear brakes are not only larger than the fronts, but also larger than the wheels attached to them. A true engineering feat!

I first had my wife hop on my sim rig (which is just a basic G27 wheel and monitor, nothing fancy). She was at least able to get the basics foot/hand patterns before we went out in my car the first time. She said it helped immensely -- so if you have a wheel and pedal setup at home, fire up the ol’ sim and have a go.

Yeah I love the idea of a bike but only for track use (which...how do you get there from here?). I have a little roadster instead...which is still kinda scary to drive with all of the inattentive drivers and raised trucks out there.

As the car guy of the family, I tend to get “opportunities” to acquire quite a few vehicles. The worst was a 1999 chrysler sebring coupe. On the plus side, it was basically just a 2G eclipse underneath, with a mitsu engine. On the bad side, Chrysler mangled some of their electronics...and apparently also influenced

A reasonable compromise might be the 4.2L supercharged V8 from the S type R as it was a platform-mate to the tbird. 400hp, could be neat.

The LS was a great car when new...and the styling has aged extremely well. Unfortunately yeah...might have just driven straight from the sales lot to the service dept and saved a few miles and tows in between. I still like the LS but god damn were they a steaming garbage pile when it came to reliability.

Everyone was kinda doing it back then, and chrome was blingy cool...to some people I guess. My 2007 Sky has a very similar interior to this tbird (red/black).

Car crashes killed eight percent more people in 2020 than in 2019, despite miles driven plunging by 13 percent! Every time you drove in 2020, you were 24 percent more likely to die.

Like the S class clown face

So uhhhh...how much does it cost? Seems like an important detail...
