You’re just now disappointed in Infiniti? I thought disappointment has been their brand image for the last 15 years or so.

I’ve always found that those auto strippers never quite work right. They either bite too hard and take half of the core wires with them, or they just slip off. Usually the former. Getting just the right amount of pressure/cut for any particular sheathing is going to vary quite a bit. Good ol’ Rack-a-teer crocs are…
It’s missing a timeout doll too, or whatever those things are. Not enough to shine up my new balances, ND
The concept is certainly not new, but I don’t think it’s been proven in true automotive practice. The only car I can think of that is a true series design like that was the Fisker Karma (unless you count range extenders like the I3 has, which is more like this design). I am not an automotive engineer but my assumption…
Now they just need to scale this to the bad credit, no credit, no problem price point and market.
Man, it’s a shame this was hot rodded. I would have loved to see this in all its original glory. I love me a good ol hot rod but something like this is just a damn shame.
A mapp torch is less than a hundred bucks and refills are like 10-15 bucks. Unless you have a situation where you absolutely cannot have an open flame (but are fine with intense heat), this is more of a novelty. I can’t really think of a situation where I haven’t been able to use my mapp torch. All of the areas around…
Yeah but they are engineered for life. Those things are damn near unstoppable, I’ve had a couple old diesel mercs myself. Also, MB Tex was great.
Until we upgrade our power grid to handle a full fleet of EVs, we need other fuels. Ultimately it would be great to be nuclear and renewable 100% but in the US, we’re still so dependent on fossil fuels, even if just for electricity generation. So the question may not be whether we should only focus on EV vehicles, but…
These were decent, if a bit vulgar. This one however...”custom” muffler delete. No...that is a seller I do not want to buy from. The RLs are not entirely rare, so might as well just find one that hasn’t done a couple trips to the pep boys accessory dept.
and the 4cyl versions could be had with a manual transmission too.
Starting the week off with a doozy of a bad take. I like it...set the bar low and early!
Tori, Grant and Kari were awesome as well. The later seasons without them were just going through the motions. I think the show had a great run. I was hooked since I saw the first episode (the JATO impala) as a freshman in high school. I think that (a) Discovery really sucks ass when it comes to actual educational…
I just hope the engines get a bit better. I had an outlander as a rental in Australia last year (2.4 CVT) and the thing barely got up hills. Granted we had luggage in back, but probably only a hundred pounds or so. For reference, my daily driver is a diesel delica...between the gearing and diesel torque, the Outlander…
Why not a mode that syncs or locks all of the motors non-mechanically to the same input? i.e. 25% throttle gets distributed evenly to all 4 wheels, no sensors or slip gubbins.
beautiful machining and engineering, you’re not kidding. I kinda dig the hotrod look for it, but a t bucket is not the right one. A chopped 34 ford body or something with the open hood would hit the spot, and maybe less of the “big little” tires.
Yeah the videos are tough to watch. The thing that’s astounding to me is that there is clearly a pileup in the non-express lane, and cars are stopped for some time/distance prior to that point. The videos shot on teh other side of the road are folkd going about 5mph with tires spinning (I think with other incidents on…
Yeah looking at some of those cars, I have a really hard time believe there are no life threatening injuries or death. I definitely want that to be true, but I have a feeling there will be some bad news emerging.
