You should have seen it before we went on a severe weight-reduction program. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you the ‘Oprah’:

Meanwhile in Michigan...

Canada has safety inspections that take a lot of cars like this off the road. Come to Michigan if you want to see the real rolling rust buckets.

General stupidity.

they’ve unwittingly left a car running in a garage, filling their homes with carbon monoxide gas, killing them.

Darwin will not be denied; even in gated communities.

People who buy a house in the flight path of an existing airport have NO RIGHT to complain about the noise from said airport.

“...just tires, final drive ratio, drivetrain efficiency and weight of that drivetrain.”

That’s not a “just” accumulation of factors, especially since you also might have a taller ride height wreaking havoc on aero drag, just as much as all of the factors above wreak havoc on mechanical drag.

That added weight might

Sponsorship might have helped to teach the public on the proper use of condoms.

Well I can’t say much for efficiency, the best it ever nets is about 21 mpg. But that’s with me pretty much driving it like I stole it and 87 octane, so I really can’t complain. The handling of the all-stock suspension is quite good. Frequently impresses me with what it can do.

Also notice how they added functioning turn signals to the mule just to throw everyone off.

Felt motivated to fix it. Looks so much better.

Yeah but this amazing trend should never go away. I’m thinking about buying 3 new cars just so I have backups in case they stop adding this gorgeous look. Not that they ever would.

So, to my untrained eye, the E class wagon is actually among the better new wagons today in that respect ... I just looked at the XF Sportbrake, and it has those little side flaps! So cool, so much thanks, Rock Bottom! :)

I cannot WAIT for longer, lower, wider to come back into style. Bound to happen eventually. And colors. Oh please, let the sea of gray stop!

I started noticing those flaps on Nissan Rouges a couple years ago and since then I’ve been seeing them appear everywhere. As an aerospace engineering major I realized exactly what they were for. The new Buick Envision is one of the worst offenders imo.

As soon as I saw the side of this car, that damn rear glass angle is all I could think about. Obviously they must have some data saying that more people prefer the ultra-fast angle, but I think they might be taking too much input from SUV shoppers.

RIP to form and function.

BUT THEY LOOK GOOD!!!
