She’s not a better person just because of her job. A person’s class status and job is not necessarily an indicator of character. There is nothing wrong with serving nuts. She’s a better person than that flight attendant because the flight attendant is a bigot.

I had a really awkward relationship with my parents and when I was 16 I started college and mostly avoided them. I would come back at 2 AM, sleep for 4 hours, wake up and leave. I’d pay for all my own stuff other than rent and just stay out, eventually leaving completely at 19.
