I’m just messing around and expressing my irrational hatred for himym. I don’t think I’d be good at arranging this list, but I’m pretty sure there’s a large swath of fans of himym whose favorite restaurant is Applebee’s (my least favorite chain). I bet the Venn diagram is actually just a circle.

I think that’s fair. It probably takes until season 3 to hit its stride. And they re work a few details that end up working better in the long run.

Mehhh, I LOVE P&R, but hated HIMYM, and I’m pretty lukewarm on Friends. I agree with the top statement, though. I don’t really like any of those shows.

This is so strange to me! Mostly because I loved Seinfeld and Space Ghost, HATED Friends and HIMYM, and have always loved Parks & Rec to death, but fuck no @ The Office. So I’m literally the opposite of your list!

I found Parks and Rec entertaining, loved SGC2C, did not like any of the others.

I liked The Office and Parks and Rec, couldn’t get into Seinfeld, don’t know Space Ghost (yet), liked Friends, hated HIMYM only got through a handful of episodes before I quit.

Unless and until the LA Supreme Court affirms the dismissal of his conviction and the state moves to dismiss the underlying charge, he is technically still facing trial. He has gone from being convicted back to being indicted and arraigned but with no conviction.

A life completely taken from an innocent man by our “justice” system. Nothing upsets me more than shit like this.

It might just be that you watched the first season, which is really, really lousy to the point that it’s worth skipping to Season 2.

That said, I’m not going to be that sort of butthead who tells you to watch 15 episodes of a show before you make up your mind, so if the first 2 or 3 episodes of Season 2 didn’t do it,…

A matter of time? Literally been going on for over a century and most likely longer.

I bet our brains are wired differently, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. I mean, I never, never, never liked Seinfeld. I found all of the people off-putting and annoying. But millions of people loved it.

Parks and Rec really took a couple of seasons to hit it it’s stride. I went back and watched the first couple of episodes recently and thought “what is this even!” It’s an ensemble show that stated out focused on Leslie, once it flushed out it’s cast and their stories it got really good.

I wonder which episodes/seasons you watched, because I started with season 1 and couldn’t stand it. Then Mark Brendanawicz (just googled that for the spelling, would not have guessed in a million years) left and it got SO MUCH BETTER. I think he sucked the air out of it- he was just such an unpleasant character.
