I kinda like the notification-style controls too, but I wish they’d keep the larger cover art while there aren’t other notifications.

It just pushes everything down so far that if there’s a bunch of text notifications or whatever, fewer show up on the unscrolled lock screen. Plus it’s ugly.

In general that’s a decent criteria for deciding between the two, though there are reasons to dislike Apple that don’t require any technical knowledge (pricing, end-to-end platform control, etc). But yeah, if you don’t want to learn how to interact with your device, you should probably go with iOS.

While they’re at it, I wish the coders could make again so that you see which of your many witty posts are recommended in the notifications. Now it just says “X people recommended your reply” and when I click to see which one, it doesn’t even take me to that reply, just the headline of the post I replied to.
