My wife grew up in Youngstown, so I've adopted the Browns as an underdog rooting interest. I sprung for a throwback elf t-shirt before last season. Every day since — and sometimes twice per day — I get emails from the Cleveland Browns trying to sell me more shit. I've unsubscribed from their mailing list a half-dozen

I prefer not to use toilet water.

Last time I checked, grapes turned into wine. Therefore, grapes are the best fruit. No contest.

Ah, I read it incorrectly. So I'm the idiot.

Your math is extremely wonky. How do you estimate that of the 315 million that populate the U.S., 1/3 are gamers? Do you have a source for that?

I love the Statue of Liberty scene so much that, while thinking about it a couple of years ago, I felt compelled to buy that Jackie Wilson song on iTunes. So perfect.

I think your argument as a whole is over the top, but I do agree with a lot of points you make.

I guess my overall point is that Rovell is such a shithead in so many other, far more meaningful ways. Devoting the time to comb thru his stories to show he does PR rewrites seems like wasted energy.

I used to be a business reporter. Got disillusioned and left because everything is essentially a PR rewrite or a top 10 stocks list. So yeah, I'm angry like you are that we don't have better reporting of good business stories. But when you have sites like Business Insider getting lots of clicks, other sites can't help

I love ragging on Rovell as much as the next guy, but this is pretty unfair. I mean, yes, he's rewriting press releases. He came from the business world with CNBC. Many of those financial web sites basically rewrite press releases for things like earnings, M&A, etc. It's not like he's lifting text wholly unchanged,

As a Sox fan living in NYC, I've seen the worst in both Fenway and old Yankee Stadium. The most intense fight, though, was in either 2003 or 2004 in the bleacher seats. A Yankees fan was giving a ton of shit to Red Sox fans his general vicinity. His jokes were actually pretty funny, but one Sox fan didn't take too

Samer, I appreciate this post but I feel the [...] does a disservice to the letter the Edson family wrote. That [...] leaves out the part about how the father is dealing with Stage 4 cancer....how the mother and daughter have run the marathon. Given the amount of coverage Deadspin has given this, you

My friends laugh at me, but I love this game. I play it more than I play Titanfall. Everything about it is fun. And the best part - we now have received 2 free DLC packs with new game modes, characters, maps, etc. For once, EA did something right.

I highly endorse the Jack's Abby selection. A wonderful brewer. If you haven't, try to get a taste of their Hoponius Union IPL. My favorite beer.

Winter begins on Dec. 21. That gives Nintendo a pretty tight window to release in Winter 2014.

Happy to make my daughter love princesses like Peach and Zelda before Cinderella and Snow White.

After the Xbox One arrived, I moved the Xbox 360 into my bedroom full expecting to continue playing GTA V or any of the free Xbox Live games. Instead, the 360 has sat collecting dust, not turned on once since 11/22.

This video is fascinating. It's about how great the Cardinals are...and even shows despairing Red Sox fans and the 2013 World Series logo...and yet, the Cardinals lost the 2013 World Series to the Red Sox. Nothing about this makes sense.

"I don't think I've ever seen three posts–I've seen two," Lecavalier said, referring to the double dick pic on Deadspin.
