Would it be good to clear out zones of side quests before moving on?  Can you miss things if you don’t?  I’ve heard conflicting reports of if you can go back to old zones or not as you progress chapters. (I know there’s a chapter select at the end)

booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo to slideshows.

without spoilers, i do feel 2 ways about it. I just wish I was told what I was getting into, instead of expecting something else. idk if that “deceit” (too harsh of a word perhaps) is what is stopping me from enjoying it or if after Kingdom Hearts I have began to hate Nomura

It’s still episodic, this is still only midgar, and there is no timeline on the next part other than they mentioned they’re working on Part 2 now.

Short answer is we have no idea.  Beyond “we’re working on a part 2" we have no idea how it’s going to handle equipment, materia, levels, etc etc.  It’s basically anyone’s guess.

When people say FF7 didn’t make sense, they’re talking about the more esoteric plot elements, like the blatant misuse of the word “clone” all the time, what exactly happened to Zack, where the multiple Sephiroths come from, etc. (or at least, that’s what bothered me when I first played the game all those years ago.)

I think there’s a spoiler reason why people familiar with the original might appreciate the remake more.

Good question. So, yes. Final Fantasy VII Remake is completely accessible to people who haven’t played the original game... until the last chapter. At that point, it’s hard to follow even if you have finished FFVII — if you haven’t played it at all, the ending will be incomprehensible.

I do think it might be finished but it will take quite a while for it to happen. You mention Kingdom Hearts but what comes to mind for me is the Rebuild of Evangelion anime movies. What was supposed to be some sort of theatrical remake/re-imagining/whatever of an anime series from 1995 released its first movie in 2007

Triple the amount of work to fish to avoid an awful invasion of resource gathering.

1) Animal Crossing is not only for you. this game is for all sexes and all ages. So the bunny items are not terrible for everyone nor is it the end of the world to everyone when they find more eggs.

2) This is how events have always been in animal crossing (for the most part).

What makes it even worse is that you start to get duplicate Bunny Day DIY recipes. I was hoping that after I found them all I’d actually get more of the cherry blossom stuff, but no. I just want the damned cherry blossom purse recipe, Nintendo...

Not only do people of color have less access to healthcare but because of other biases they tend to live in higher density areas, live with more extended families making transmission more likely and do not have access to healthy foods leading to higher incidence of obesity, diabetes and other health issues that make

The daily log-in bonus isn’t really worth it. I’ll just have to do a bunch of weeding on April 13th. I’m so over it. 100% done.

Oh I dunno. People like games for different reasons. This kind of game is good for the people who like customizing, collecting, and just chilling. Others prefer games with more narrative or challenge or exploration. I’ve already sunk 50 hrs into New Horizons, but I can totally understand when it’s not someone’s cup of

I mean by September this pandemic should be mostly resolve (I sure hope!)

Yeah, there’s no way we’re getting new consoles this year.

I sure as hell hope nobody is doing crunch during this crisis and that’s why games are being delayed. The last thing anybody needs right now is to compromise their immune system with stress and lack of sleep.  The game can fucking wait.

My idea of a great twist is that the choices you make throughout the “First Disc” portion influence who Sephiroth shanks in the City of the Ancients.
