Honestly, this has more to do with the fact that we haven’t really had a decent Harvest Moon game since the GBA. Rune Factory did an OK job scratching that itch but even it didn’t really have the shine and polish that SDV did in capturing that farming-small-town-sim type game.

I mean with Temtem being out and doing pretty decently, I can’t blame anyone for taking a swing at the PC market for nintendo-like games.

Snoop has disappointmented me with this.

That cartoon got me into Tolkien.  Same year as Star Wars, so I was geek-branded for life.

If you read the Hobbit after Lord of the Rings, you won’t like it as much.

It COULD have happened this way but it absolutely may have been Nintendo-mandated based on corporate relationships as well. Since he’s told us he has no control over it, it’s fine to take him at his word too.

Wow, surprised that he doesn’t get more say than that. I would have thought he at least gets veto powers.

I would have rather had any other character from Three Houses than thousand-yard stare Byleth. Give me Edelgard or Claude

There’s a difference between not offering one’s games on another platform and offering them and then randomly raising the price with no warning.

Right, because a typical pre-purchase inspection includes confirming that features listed on the original window sticker haven’t been remotely removed from the car by the manufacturer, and any used car buyer who fails to have one of these mythical pre-existing feature inspections performed deserves what they get.

I’ve enjoyed it for what I’ve played, 8-10 hrs. But there’s a reason I’ve only played that amount. It’s early content, I’ve looked up the developer roadmap, and I know I enjoy what I have but want to enjoy it in it’s entirety.

Ah yes, the Pokemon fandom effect in full force

Could you imagine if EA did the same thing??

Absolutely.

Not even being able to back it up or one-way transfer in case of system failure is not a “non-issue.” That’s ridiculous nonsense that has no place in a game in 2020.

Why would cheating matter in a single player game?

Hmm... maeby.

I think Nintendo gets away with a lot that other other publishers or console makers would get rightly castigated for.

I would love to know the percentage of people with step-siblings who think this genre is hot as compared to the percentage of people without them.
