I think we may be too close to PS VR release for Sony to tweak the core system’s price just yet, but I’d love to be wrong.

This is a simplistic way of looking at it, but sometimes simplicity helps with decision making. I always tell my friends that Xbox = shooters and a focus slightly leaning towards multiplayer and action and PS4 = creativity and a focus slightly leaning towards singleplayer and story. Both have a bit of everything, but…
I would be fine with all the shovelware if browsing the Steam store were a more pleasant experience. That shovelware can bury other games I may have been interested in if I don’t truly take the time to sort through “New Releases,” “Upcoming” and other front page categories.
It’s a lot like looking at an actual bargain…
It’s primarily about the experience of browsing for games on Steam. Steam does its best to give you sorting options to find what you want, but even then the sheer number of games means a consumer can easily get overwhelmed and give up on buying anything at all - particularly when so many of those games give the first…
Higher development costs. Demand for lower-price games and free to play. AAA development houses shipping broken launch after broken launch. A Steam store and mobile app market that look like Gamer Santa vomited shovelware, said “Ho Ho Ho,” then passed out on a copy of Tank Dating Simulator.
I’m beginning to wonder if…
Despite what points you may have, arguments like these always lose me when “entitled little brats” or “first world problems” comes out. Belittling someone else’s opinion doesn’t make yours more valid.
Between this and the upcoming mech suit, it’s almost as if Avalanche is happily encouraging us to break the game. “Challenge? Game balance mechanics? Who needs ‘em!”
I want to get excited about this, but after the abrupt removal of support for the PC version, I just can’t. Warner Bros, you performed a fatality on my heart.
The Witcher 3's sex scenes were good until you realized it was just the same five or six motions being repeated with different character models.
This is why I don’t multiplayer. I much prefer an AI companion blocking my doorway, right Dogmeat?
As someone who recently got out of a relationship, this is weirdly encouraging. It’s past time I stopped trying to raise someone’s heart meter and focused on my own. The Haleys of the world just aren’t worth it.
I look like a skinny version of these dudes. I feel like I should be drinking, shooting people and mourning my dead wife more.
Why does this feel like Abstergo is about to be taken over by Shinra?
A likely 2016 NX release and likely WiiU backwards compatibility is what stopped me from buying a WiiU this past Christmas. Even though I really, REALLY want to play Xenoblade! By the time Nintendo sold me on the WiiU lineup, NX was right around the corner.
Ripoff concerns aside, do we know if we’re getting this level of musical quality in FFXV? We may never return to the glory days of Uematsu, but FFXIV gives me hope and man did FFXIII make my ears bleed.
The game frustrates me because I’m a sucker for mysterious islands and philosophy, yet don’t really enjoy puzzles. Still powering through it though.
I think you may be seriously underestimating your own intelligence in relation to the rest of us.
Works for me. Thanks.
Is there a PC port of Killer Instinct? I’m in that PC-gaming limbo where if it isn’t on Steam I have no idea that it exists.
Will I still get a good story out of this if I don’t care for anime?
To clarify: I’m always on the lookout for new story-driven games on Steam, but fanservice and anime tropes often kill immersion for me pretty darn quick.
