Or at least, better than bad.
Or at least, better than bad.
I remember reading something about buy-here-pay-here lots installing ignition locks that would lock you out if you missed a payment. I don’t think they were installing breathalyzer ignition locks though.
The device is there to prevent a person previously convicted of impaired driving from operating a vehicle while impaired. It isn’t installed for an impaired person to determine whether or not they’re too drunk to drive. It’s an ignition lock system. If a person has one installed - good. That is all. No need to shame…
No, but Mugen NR Mirrorfaces would! Schwing!
Perfect, thanks! Right in time for lunch.
Exactly, thank you. My son has a genetic mutation that prevents him from being vaccinated due to how his body processes certain chemicals contained in some vaccines. We didn’t find this out until after he received a vaccination and suffered a severe reaction which caused permanent brain damage. Because of my son’s…
Have you done a piece yet on cars that used semaphore indicators? If not, you should. I know VW used them but what other manufacturers used these hilariously inadequate means of indicating? Who first used them, why were they used, and when did they go away? Did they even work as a means of indicating? Did drivers flip…
Yes, they did.
I love this kind of stuff. I few months ago I was having a discussion on a mountain bike forum about cars, and somebody had mentioned that there used to be races at Torrey Pines in San Diego where the golf course now sits. I didn’t believe, but I found this on YouTube. Pretty cool stuff.
There wasn’t anyway around it. I had no space to store it and also had no idea how long I would be without said space, which is why I had to part ways. I had one day to make the decision, so there’s that.
You just described what the Civic Type-R used to be, and has now become.
Due to extreme health-related circumstances my wife was going through a few years back, I was faced with having to get rid of my ‘73 Datsun 240z. The body and paint was all original, so it wasn’t perfect, but I poured so much time and money into that thing. All new suspension, brake set up, turbo-swapped with…
I don’t think it’s a bad thing that the GT-R is as anonymous as it is. For one, aside from fanboys, it’s not going to draw unwanted attention, such as from law enforcement. Same goes for the SS.
It stings because it’s true.
The waterworks... they’re currently on. Thanks for a great story. As I was reading, I could see a little of Radar in my son. My son suffered brain damage from a drug reaction when he was an infant and as he’s gotten older the side effects have become more pronounced. He’s only six, but already has a love of cars,…
And this is the exact reason why California continually increases gasoline and road use taxes. They keep reallocating budget dollars elsewhere into other programs netting them a wash, so our taxes go up, state spending goes up and nothing gets fixed.
Until this past August I daily drove a ‘73 Datsun 620 pickup. I’ve owned various S30, S130 Zs and other Nissans over the years, but this was by far my most enjoyable Datsun product because of how ratty it was. Anyway, it had an L20b in it, and like any L20b owner knows, eventually the block is going to crack between…
Tequila!
Yeah, I get that. Generally, I don’t tend to wear a tin foil hat, but today I’m putting it on because I just find it difficult to trust a government agency to try and make my life easier. As painful and expensive as it is, I still think I would rather pay a tax preparer to assist with my tax preparation as they’re…
While I like the idea of a simplified tax filing process, imagine if the government was pre-filling your tax forms but did so erroneously.
