If there’s no rule in the HOA covenants that prohibit such a thing, and he isn’t violating any city ordinances, then the HOA has no place to tell this guy to move it.

A ban in city centers would make sense in San Francisco, but not really anywhere else in California. Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties are all large urban sprawl areas where not having a car or means of transportation doesn’t make sense. The only way I can see a ban on ICE in these areas work is if

Call the dealership and ask them if they’ll pay for a rental until they can do the repair. I got a recall notice for the driver and passenger airbags in my wife’s 2007 CRV. Because the vehicle was unsafe to use (driver side airbag no-good) Pacific Honda in San Diego paid 100% for our rental car. That was nearly 90

Right, I mean the drivers seat shows some cracking due to wear and tear but no more than the ‘85, which says something about how well cared for this ‘84 is.

For $400 less, I’d rather have this ‘84. I’m partial to the color combo over the white ‘85.

I think I got that wrong. I think he’s cousins to Bruce Dickinson. Either way, that family has good tastes in transport.

Not only is Rob Dickinson the former front-man for Catherine Wheel, he’s also brother to Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden.

Whomever owns that house in the picture knows how to live.

Ah, gotcha. Honestly, I’ve never seen a 2+2 converted to convertible. If there ever was a candidate for conversion I think the S130 2+2 would foot the bill as that roofline is gross. I actually think the S30 2+2s look great. They kind of look like a cross between a Z and a Kenmeri Skyline.

This is not a 2+2 my good man. That’s the standard coupe that has been ruined by the removal of the roof. The S30 and S130 2+2 chassis has a longer wheelbase, which is easy to spot by the extended doglegs, if not by the hideous roofline behind the B pillar.

It’s a thing. I now live in South Carolina (the redneck motherland), but while I lived in Southern California, I ran with a bunch of mountain biking, big lifted truck driving, chain-smoking, souther-rock-listening Filipinos. It was the strangest thing.

My wife and I rebuilt the SUs on my Datsun at the kitchen table. I rebuilt one and she followed along watching what I was doing. One of the stranger, but more memorable, bonding experiences we’ve had together.

Are you stalking me and my wife?

Ah, the good ol’ days when cars were made of rustanium.

Thanks the lobbyists working for the automotive industry. The 25-year rule has nothing to do with safety and emissions and everything to do with protecting the profits of manufacturers from third party dealers that would otherwise import vehicles in from other markets and undercut the dealers.

Zillow is usually high. I’d knock 5-10% off those estimates.

I used to be glued to the TV in the wee hours of the night to watch the JGTC races. If I recall correctly, the only thing those GT500 cars have in common with the road versions is the firewall, and were, basically, silhouette cars.

Yup, Toyota City.

Most importantly... will it baby?
