Oh yeah! I always forget about that. Just shows how "in the family" the whole thing really is.

Well, that's great and maybe I don't need to be as annoyed as I've been. But I still think there should be an option to pay for new episodes as they come, for fans who want to support them but can't justify the upfront cost.
It's also worth mentioning that Dan Harmon and Rob Schraab are Joel Hodgson acolytes from his stand-up days. All three are from Milwaukee and Hodgson is a big reason they moved out to Hollywood. They might be nerd celebrities now, but they are legitimately fans of the guy and MST3K. Seinfeld probably counts himself a…
I do not disagree with that, and I'd even go further and risk sounding like an insane person by saying that the idea that only people who donate, at minimum, $85-100 are meant to be allowed to watch however many episodes are made is firmly opposed to their prior ethos of "keep spreading the tapes." The "tapes" being…
The more I think about it, the more Jeremy's idol meets that criteria. Sure, Stephen was still gone at the next Tribal, but Ciera was already gone and it's not a foregone conclusion she'd have been voted out in Stephen's place — since she'd still have Abi and Wentworth on her side. And possibly with Spencer and Keith…
Well god mother fucking damn it. Now I have to donate. It's a god damn Christmas fucking miracle. God damn it.*
That's a good point, especially in regards to Jeremy's play. I would argue, though, that merely playing HIIs in a fashion that causes dramatic blindsides does tend to curry favor on juries. They're "strong" moves from "strong" players, whether they were ultimately very meaningful.
Oh, for sure, I can relate to that kind of pressure, especially when you're still a teenager or early twenties. And I get that he sort of bought the logic they were feeding him. But there's no reason he should have trusted any of them at that point, certainly not with his own hard-won immunity.
Again, that was cockiness, not outright stupidity. Tyson was sure he had it worked out and he was dead wrong, but Erik had no clue what he was doing. It was the opposite of cocky. Just so, so dumb.*
Oh, right, that's almost certainly what happened. Just based on what we saw, I wouldn't be surprised if Spencer changed his vote at some point and we didn't see it.
I said it upthread last night, but I do think it's possible there could be a three-way tie in the finale, based on the preview showing Kimmi and Keith conspiring. The double HII play is far more likely, but I would love to see both HIIs prove useless because two players voted for someone idol-less and that's all they…
I would normally agree, but Wentworth seemed a lot more confused than anyone besides Abi after the vote.
I was seriously worried for half a second that he was going to start mocking it or say something churlish about it not being his kinda thing. But, no, his expression was one of wide-eyed wonder instead. Never change, Keith.
100% agreed. Those rankings could easily change before the FTC, too.
I think Wentworth and Spencer are about equal, with Tasha right on their heels after this vote. I definitely think using her idol when she did will be useful to her, but if she's up against Jeremy then he can say the same thing with the added benefit that he gave it to someone else — showing strategy and loyalty.…
I do believe Sandra won at least once using that basic strategy, but that was mostly necessity and she wasn't quite as acidic a presence as Abi. That said, I actually find Abi far more entertaining than Sandra.
I believe there has been a double elimination in the final five or six before, but I can't recall when that was or who was involved.
I just re-watched Heroes vs. Villains, too! J.T.'s letter was totes adorbz, especially the way he reads it like a 2nd grader reading their book report to the class. And there can definitely be cause to give your HII to another player, just never to a stranger on the still-opposing tribe — one who was brought back from…
Getting voted out with two hidden idols is one thing, cockiness sometimes works out. But giving away your immunity necklace? So dumb.
Ohhh yeah. The whimsy alongside the horror works with that interpretation. It's probably all of the above really. As well as some Hitchhiker's Guide. Thus is the brilliance of Freeman.
