Withering stares can't melt steel beams!

As I said upthread, J.K. Simmons was the original medical examiner.

A sick, sad world, even.

What don't you understand about the totemic power of the red hood? HUH?!

J.K. Simmons?

This season has gotten better and it's still terrible.

Mmm. That was good rant. Would read again. Five stars.

This is like the console wars of the 80s and 90s. Some of us still carry those scars.

I get what you're saying, I just think any empowerment or sense of the character's heart comes from that fact that she doesn't let the costume get her down. She does possibly her most badass act in the bikini, but that doesn't make the bikini proof of anything.

The end of every episode has the golden rod saying, "Here we go again…!"

You know, I never thought about that before but… I would guess it's the clothing of some unfortunate princess who didn't have a talking golden rod to get her out of trouble.

Eh… 19 year-old Fisher in that white dress, laying on her prison bed wasn't what I would call "asexual"…

I bet she Instagrams all her top secret missions.

I like to think some of that is intentional. Oliver knows when he's full of it, and that's part of why he recognized he needed to change last season.

I never pay attention to the credits in these shows, though clearly I should. If Lexi Alexander became this show's main directorial voice, that would be amazing.

I don't know about the damages aspect, but it seems pretty clear that the documentarians deserve some credit for the show itself.

Precum again?

I'm feel confident that I watched all of those in the theater and probably even enjoyed all of them. But, yeah, Wayne's World and Addams Family both have the added benefit of improving on their originals, on top of being good movies themselves. Actually, Sister Act 2 is pretty great, as well…

Well… she got better.

Well, I'm very… astute.
