I'd put my money on Luigi actually doing a lot of behind the scenes stuff, paperwork, etc, while Mario remains this figurehead who just goes to galas, cuts ribbons, what have you.

You sick fucks; didn’t you realize that Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man are siblings!?

The 2015 Peanuts Movie was pretty fun!

Say what you will about the Ice Age franchise, but John Leguizamo brought us Sid the Sloth. Legitimately one of the best animated characters in recent history. Oh yes, I will go extinct on that hill.

I saw somebody speculate in earlier recaps that the man and woman in the ads are probably Wanda’s parents (or more accurately, images Wanda created of her parents), and the fact that Hayword names her parents in this episode might be further indication of that.

I think they’re probably just townspeople? But who knows at this point.

The mid-season trailer has shots of what look like Vision trying to break through the hex barrier while wearing his usual Avengers Vision look. Presumably, once he gets through, we’ll find out whether Wanda has managed to use her magic to permanently resurrect him.

Every part of me wants to believe Vision is actually alive again and not just a zombie puppet Wanda’s animating in her dream world.

Maybe I’m a bit slow on the uptake, but I just realized that the in-universe commercials are referencing major events in Wanda’s life.

The Holding Out for a Hero climax is great. From Saunders belting it out (via auto tune) to the orchestral score sweeping through the pop song to Mungo's weird death to the perfectly deployed Puss in Boots kitten eyes... It's just great.

Just came her to say that Atlantis: The Lost Empire was a pretty decent little movie. Not a world-beater or anything, but highly watchable. Great cast.

Why does Katzenberg strike me as a Green Goblin figure, a creature of pure spite, gleefully lobbing grenades at the executives who pushed him out of the company while yelling “OUT, AM I?”

I enjoyed the original Shrek, but I enjoyed the sequel much more — and not just for “sexy” and “ass”. However abbreviated, it seems to have a better structured narrative. Lord Farquaad is a pretty clueless, and never particularly menacing, villain. And when the dragon shows up, he’s dispensed with pretty casually. The

I cried just last weekend because of a certain character death in Attack on Titan’s final season!

Not sure I agree, but I was curious about what made up this “rigid segregation”.

Despite all his rage, he is still holding cats on this page.

Maybe Wanda has beencarrying” Vision around inside herself, ever since she disintegrated the mind-stone. It would explain why he’s semi-autonomous. That would also be a way for the MCU to bring him back.

Dragon Quest 11. After about 25 years of playing games, it looks like I’m finally going to beat a turn-based JRPG. I’ve always been terrible at these games, but something about DQ 11 just clicked with me and I’m around the corner from the final boss (of the main game, as I understand there’s a hefty endgame quest
