Here in Michigan a friend of mine backed into someone on accident with their trailer hitch in a parking lot of, I think, Lowes, and the police couldn't do anything because it was Lowes' private property. Must be different in different states.
Does it really matter though? Can the police do anything if the parking lot was private property?

Question that's been bothering me for a while and I can't find a decent answer. How do people cleanly transport patch cables? We're thinking a duffel bag with each length (6 inch, 12 inch, etc) in separate gallon ziplocs. I feel like there might be a better way.
