Yep yep. That’s why I say that you’ll never hear a grocery store owner complain about food stamp users. It’s a stimulus every month.

This. People making 250k+ aren't spending money like poor people do.

one thing to remember is almost ALL of this, and the previous $1200 stimulus went right back into the local economy. not too many people hoarded or invested it, which is what happens when the well-off get their tax cut.

You sound like you’re 95.

Yes, though “stop having kids” is throwing the baby out with the bath water. One could advocate for mass suicide on the same terms. But let’s be honest, we want to save the earth so that humanity survives. If we take away fundamental parts of being human we’ve lost already.

But...milk ISN’T particularly healthy for teens? Water is far better for you once you aren’t a baby anymore. Milk and juice are both pushed as super healthy options when they just aren’t.

Now living next door to North Dakota, I’m pretty sure “keeping cold in the winter” is pretty easy but I am intrigued as to the best way to do it.

If you want to know if it’s thermal paper, just scratch your fingernail across it.  If you leave a black line, it’s thermal paper.  (Old trick for loading fax machine paper the right side up back in the day.)

I’ve complained about this before, and here I am again. *Why* do you keep framing excerpts from Jessica Simpson’s memoir that deal with her childhood sexual abuse as something salacious that you want to read immediately so you’ll be up on all the ~*hot goss*~?!!

Hey can you mention, link to or quote the advocacy group Stella, who are quoted in the linked piece? It’s by-and-for sex workers in Montreal and I think it’s important that the voices of sexworkers _actually_ be heard.

He’s not talking about actually performing poorly, he’s talking about being a perfectionist who can’t stand to see a performance he can no longer tweak. It’s fine if another performer doesn’t relate, they’re not all the same person.

1. That’s a really, really false comparison
2. You can enjoy the work of making something and still struggle with perfectionism RE the final product, especially when you’re not the editor
3. As the article repeatedly states, he was there promoting a movie that is not Star Wars, and in fact is a very different type of

Oof you’re mean. I have a public facing job too in that I do presentations for groups of people at once. I hate seeing pictures or recordings of it, in fact it makes me sick to my stomach. And those are groups of 20 at a time.

This is not at all the same thing.

Nope. He set clear boundaries, has reiterated them over and over AND OVVVVVVER. He said he doesn’t like it. He said he doesn’t want it. That is not being a fucking diva.

It’s not being a diva to enforce a boundary that was intentionally ignored.

Definitely looks like Alternate-Austro-Hungarian Empire that just never fell at the end of World War I. Which would make the Prince an alterna-Habsburg!

As usual, comments are a cesspool of negativity. I don’t understand you people. Did you think Mandalorian was going to be in the running for an Emmy for outstanding drama? Jesus christ people. Star Wars is FOR CHILDREN. I say this as someone who loves it. They’re making this show FOR CHILDREN. They made it about a

Mando was very careless with Baby Yoda this episode, considering a bounty hunter had tried to assassinate the child just last episode.

I had that thought back when the first ep had Brian Posehn.
