But Chris Rock is black, which is why he spoke of the black experience in Hollywood. Why are blacks expected to do the heavy lifting while other minority groups benefit from our activism then remain silent when it really counts?

I was walking down Vine in Hollywood, on my way to Trader Joe’s after a long sweaty day working at a DV shelter in the Valley. I had to wear a back brace because I have scoliosis that was never addressed because I only had insurance on and off as a child. I was painfully aware of how horrible I looked, in pain,

Is the SAG not a union?

Well, the Olsen’s were at candace’s wedding, Stamos’ 50th and by all accounts are still friends with Saget’s kids. Them showing up for the reboot really wasn't a dig at the show, they just aren't interested in acting.

You do understand that the stars of the show know each other and are friends, right? What a lot of people are perceiving as an attack is nothing more than the dig you’d give your friend for not hanging out on a Friday night.

Internet hug!!!

Except you don’t have to do it purposefully. White=default.

As a minority in the US I can’t believe it is at all possible to restrict your child to media that only represents a single race. Exposing your black, hispanic, asian kid to books, tv, toys that represents their respective race isn’t intended to limit their perspective but to expand it. So that your kid knows that

It does, because white people are always racist.

If I do that with my white kid, but exchange “brown” for “white,” does that make me racist?

Because this is the type of thing kids shouldn’t have to think about? And it is something majority of kids(outside of the black and latinx spectrum) don’t have to think about.

The idea of a bully, who has all the power and can do whatever they want and never get in trouble, is kind of scary thing for kids to here, or

OK, I think you’re getting a little confused about what he meant there, but I’ll try and explain this one politely, cos maybe you’re not posting maliciously and you genuinely don’t get this...

It may sound to some like that’s a joke, but I’d seriously never heard of Claudette Colvin before Drunk History.

The Drunk History on Rosa Parks is highly informative.

It’s just cute and ridiculous. The absurdity and randomness is why it’s funny. “back at it again with those white vans” is the funnier part to me anyway.

...and at worst, someone actually gets hurt by SWAT teams who are just trying to do their jobs.

If you use Snapchat, you’re probably used to the series of 4-10 second video runs, and this one happens to be very consistent, show cute kids being goofy with each other, and the added bonus of a memorable, funny voice.

The problem is that between receiving the call and SWAT smashing in the doors, there is nobody whose job it is to actually observe and assess the situation to see if it actually needs the smashing through doors. That is a rather vital missing link, and many forces justify that missing link by “erring on the side of

so a SWAT teams job is to hurt people?
