if it was before 2004 it is still a SAAB. I have a 1999 9-3 with the T5 engine, which is still relatively pure. Let us not forget that SAAB’s become more reliable with GM electronics (i’m not talking about the LCD screens, but the actual fuses and wiring components.) I hate what GM did to the company, but they did

I know both SAAB and Volvo mechanics, and people who own classic editions of both cars. Let’s make one thing clear, neither of those companies are “cheap to maintain”. Depending on if you have natural aspiration or a turbo also makes a huge difference. Volvo’s generally run lower boost than SAABs with stock setups.

uh I think you’re totally missing the SAAB 9-3 viggen [1999-2003] and the 125 9-3 turbo X’s with the 6 cylinder and the twin scroll turbo. Considering both of those cars are way faster than the 9-5's...

YES THANK YOU!!! I always make the point to people that the first intelligent person was not born from two intelligent people. One day two ugly-ass dumb cave people had a child which was less ugly and dumb than they were...

you seemed to have missed some huge sections of the movie.

Idiocracy is a national treasure, and should be a mandatory part of every child’s education. The world seems to be getting closer and closer to that prediction of the future...

I run my 1999 SAAB 2.0L turbo at 23lbs of boost, and I have 140,000 miles on it. It’s not the level as boost, but if the boost is safely applied. I also don’t trust turbo’s made in China, I’m sticking with Garrett T-25's.

you should watch the Quentin Tarantino film “Death Proof”

Thank you for being a reasonable person, and providing a logical argument.

Hey Andrew, did you stop on HWY 93 south? I live in Boulder, and I know that pull off

I have a 1999 SAAB 9-3 2.0 L turbo B204L upgraded to above B204R stats, and you don’t want the 2002. The 1999 is the last year with the T5 engine, the later years switched to the T7, which GM royally ruined. The T5 engine can get 500 HP on stock internals. The T7 cannot go beyond stage 2 without replacing internal
