I started out in a job shirt back in '95. by 98 I had a puncture proof kev-tek vest "slip" (Under Uniform) by 911 I had II over that. When I bounced in 07 I was the only medic I knew who didn't pull an incident, and was swapping IIIa panels with a tin I know is Woburn.

OK - I was an I-tech in college and a medic for 10 years in Boston after that... and yes I was a boy scout so I understand the "be prepared" life style...And it's a cool pack and thanks for sharing...and honestly I almost never go negative... but... Dude you're overboard. All you need is a KED, some 02 and some d5w

Yeah wow - I live in MA, and it's pretty much "Do stuff every tourist who ever comes here does." Kind of disappointed.

Walter I honestly don't mean to be negative, which is the socially accepted thing to say right before I'm about to be negative... but seriously I've had enough of this trend where my trusted blogs primarily Lifehacker Gizmodo and their Gawker siblings have implemented "Upworthy" style headlines. And I think I'm

Nope - just grammy and grampy over for a visit.

Yeah, ok - and is this part of your EDC?

If so Adam, there may be a bigger problem here. Like you suck a picking good Sushi restaurants.

Years ago I wrote my own language file for Notepad++ to read todo.txt files highlighting context, project and priority. This makes me want to find it and dust it off again.

It seriously is so multi-purpose that reading these other comments about "not a native app", "No offline support", "High learning curve", "limited reports" and well any other complaint being glossed over and ignore - I damn near weep.

Honestly — there seriously isn't any possible system interruption that would prevent

Don't know I'm 'droid/ PC.

What were you thinking of using to sync? There is dropbox integration but I suppose you could opt out and sync the txt files some other way.

VOTE: ToDo.Txt Touch

Why: I started using a Todo.txt file (not the "system") in college. When I learned about the CLI tool set Gina offered I became an addict.
I can access it anywhere.
I can keep multiple lists.
I can make any enhancements I want (with a basic understanding of Bash).
I can customize the format to suite my

• Yeah I see what you did there. Using bullets to outline your article on how...to...use...bullets.

Is linking to a 3 year old comparison to a yearly released product really a comparison that we readers should be asked to based our judgements on?

I admin 8 different systems at work.

I try every hack there is to make identifying systems easier. Changing background colors, bginfo desktop labels, text label screen savers with the machine name all of it...I will be trying this too.

Just dump the machine name into the tray - pretty smart actually.

Hey - Here's a 10 second gif made form a 48 second video that we're going to trick you into clicking through to see.

Wow - even mother nature will spread'em wide for a vette!

So... Evil won right? I mean come on, we're all agreed they're evil. Ok fine maybe just a little bit? right? and that still counts.

This is kind of cool. However I think I'd use some script trim and make rail slides like the DIY garage ceiling storage bin system in the "related" articles area.

I'm into hobby electronics and have been thinking about building my own project box for some time. How cool would it be to have different components at my

Very cool kit, thanks for sharing. I use the same day bag for my EDC.
