or give the heavy shotgun low damage stun bullets! They just slow down your movement for 2-3 seconds. sorry for spamming these ideas on Kotaku - it's fun!

@jeffreybt: hmm yeah, they need to give the spy something to combat pyros now that pyros have a long range fire weapon

or give the Heavy a crippled version of an uber charge of his own - takes a long time to build, increases speed, only lasts 5 seconds.

give the mini-gun a drill, so when you ready it without firing you can melee people with it.
