I think this ad fails because it comes off as 2 tech guys teaming up to pick on a less tech-savy woman. Maybe they meant for it to be knocking the phone, but it feels more like they are just teasing her.

"Apple gets what it wants, whether it be the easy way or the hard way." has very different implications from "They get what they want whether they win or lose". The reason people don't understand what you are saying is because you aren't being very clear about what you mean.

This is pretty cool. The Ico/SotC HD remake had something similar where you could flip your box art around to get the original PS2 cover art (with no ratings or company logos getting in the way).
