I think a lot of people have had this revelation at some point. I loved 911s as a kid, but had lost interest by the time I got to college. You saw them everywhere, they had been around forever, they didn’t look that exciting...etc, etc.

One step closer to life-size RC car.

I still chuckle every time I see a Yamaha keyboard.

At least there are many great non-automobile Suzuki products still available.”

I rode the Dragon on my first bike, and it blows my mind that there are ANY truck drivers stupid enough to attempt that road. It would be nearly impossible to just make it to the other end, and completely impossible to stay in their lane. Thank god they were finally banned.

I don’t know about the Mansory, but I’ve driven about a dozen normal X6s of that generation. The ride is harsh as shit, and the steering feels like a tractor. Not the worst thing I’ve driven, but it might be the worst BMW.

When I worked at a Mazda dealer a few years ago they had several on the lot, but I haven’t checked recently.

Wow...I hadn’t seen those wheels, just googled it and they are hideous. And yeah, the vertical proportions are a bit weird.

Mazda3s are one of the most fun “ordinary” cars you can buy, especially on a twisty road.

I’m fine with everything but the face. It needs a damn mouth!

“Mazda ranks midpack among the brands in reliability, but reliability among its models varies widely.”

It’s not, but Hu-Man said in his first comment it’s one of the cars he is looking at.

I think all new VWs are on the same (modular) platform.

I vote Mazda3. Can be had with a manual, just as fun to drive as the VW, and significantly more reliable.

Don’t forget, Mazda offers all trim levels of the 3 with a manual.

I’d start with one of every type of E30. Wagon for trips, iX sedan for dirt roads, convertible for nice days, M3 for track time, and throw some crazy motor in my coupe just for the hell of it. Oh, and maybe one of those pickup truck conversions.

Yep, that would have been a cool little car.

Maybe not. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
