Bicycles can be jackasses (just like everyone else)...but dangerous? Only for the cyclist. If they do something stupid and collide with a car, they will 100% lose. 4000 lbs vs 200 lbs. I don’t get why they make people so angry.

The latest Top Gear season was great. Matt and Chris screwing around with offroad toys was the best thing I’ve seen on that show in a long time.

That’s not compassion, that’s a control issue. Compassion is letting other people live their own lives how they want, and being kind to them when the opportunities arise. Control issues are when you feel out of control of your own life, and instead of fixing your own problems you attempt to influence others to regain…

Who lets their friends and family dictate their choices? That’s a sad way to live. I personally don’t want the risk, but if the riders accept it it’s their choice.

This event is not a career gig, it happens once a year. Most of the riders have regular jobs, Guy Martin is a truck mechanic. They do the TT because they love it. If the riders want to keep doing it, and they’re not endangering anyone but themselves, why would you stop them?

You’re seeing it more because of the internet. I agree it’s dumb, but it’s not like assholes in cars and on bikes are destroying society.
