So what happened to Bethesda’s social media “love letter” of sorts to the single-player genre they were all about just a few months ago?

If they don’t include Metropolis, they’re missing a trick.

I had a 2000 Civic Si (red, natch) that I still sometimes mourn today. I traded it a few years later for a lightly-used 2002 Explorer Eddie Bauer at CarMax. I adored my Civic but - newly re-married to a mother of 2 - there was no way three kids and all the accompanying crap would fit in the back of the Si. I remember

Vladivostok FM is the best station of the game, besides the absurd talk radio. It really adds to the game’s setting and Niko’s story for him to spend some time listening to Eastern European crap-rock. I hate that some of what I remember about the game will be cut out.

My biggest (current) gripe with PC gaming is I cannot for the life of me figure out why the fuck spamming Left-Shift in the middle of a full-screen game should *EVER* be interpreted as a request to turn on “Sticky Keys”, resulting in yanking me out of my full-screen game, giving me a stupid dialog box I have to click

Some of my favorite recent discoveries have been the beers of a certain local craft brewer available only in cans unless you can get down to the tap room. And let’s face it - the corner store where I buy it is a lot more convenient to me than a 35 mile schlep into their taproom.

The new base-building enhancements in Astroneer’s 0.6 update has an amazing “plop”-factor. It’s quite wonderful.

How does this thing corner without rudders on those enormous fins?!?

My mom had a ‘78 Granada, which they bought new off the lot in the fall of ‘77. We drove it from Connecticut to Florida and back the long way via a detour to see the fam-damily in Tennessee early the next summer - two adults, a teenager and two pre-teens on a two week expedition in the family sedan. You just don’t see

The hood on that thing looks like the forecastle of a sleep-aboard cabin cruiser. Of course, the engine compartments of those 70's crap-cars from Goober Motors did have enough room under the hood to sling a hammock so ...

If that little lovetap caused a guy at “Team Alpha Male HQ” to get worked up, he’s a bigger broflake than I thought. What a crybaby - he wouldn’t last ten seconds in anything like a military combat training exercise, let alone an incident with someone actually trying to hurt him. And about that gym name - over-compensa

Happened to me a couple months back in the suburbs of Nashville.

I played through the game on the default, “Bring ‘Em On!” difficulty and as a now-past-my-prime gamer (age 49) with slower reflexes than I used to have, but having played a LOT of shooters over the years, I felt the difficulty was just about perfect for me - until the very final super-boss battle with the two giant

Gonna go old school here ...

Those, and the weird square lunchroom pizza of the 70's and 80's. Best. School. Lunch. EVAR.

Thank you so much for posting this! I never found one locally and just pulled the trigger. My wife won’t let me open it until Christmas but that’s okay. I’ve been waiting since June anyway. :D

Wolfenstein II! It’s always a great time to kill (digital) Nazis, as brutally as possible - a time-honored American video game tradition since the 80’s.

Our younger daughter’s stuff got infested with bedbugs after going on vacation with her grandparents, and she brought that shit home with her. We fought the infestation ourselves over the course of several weeks and almost zero cost. Besides washing EVERYTHING washable in the room and throwing out tons of extraneous

In the last few weeks, I’ve rediscovered the wonder and the sense of almost-overwhelming possibility in Skyrim. I’ve got a game going for the first time in two years, following side-quests and plots I’ve never really paid attention to, building out parts of the deliciously-detailed perk constellation in a completely

As a Tennessee alum and 30+ year Vols fan, this brand of ugly football is what got Johnny Majors fired. Just sayin’. I still maintain Muschamp is a moron, but he’s beaten Butch every time he’s faced him, at two different SEC schools. And he’s clearly teaching his kids good sportsmanship. That’s a good thing in this
