The problem with higher resolution is the file size increase is not linear, but exponential. Unless we can find a compression better than H.264 that is appealing, we're not going to advance past 1080p for movies (and 1080i for tv) for a very long time. Originally a fan of this new front fascia design Ford is pushing on all it's cars, it looked good on the Focus and Fiesta, here it looks like a step backwards towards 2006 Taurus territory.
