I’ve tried to stay involved in a number of ways. In the past I’ve participated in local black lives matters rallies, including the infamous one in 2016 that resulted in 5 dead cops.

I’m not qualified to vote on this but I would urge caution with associating anything with Robert Mugabe in any way. That he is a terrible person cannot be overstated enough.

I’m fine with being labeled whatever folks want to label me. I’m just happy for the chance to be heard at all at this point. Ah, I see the typo was corrected but my comment is still pending approval. This the second time in less than a week that The Root has kept one of my critical comments in Pending Approval status while promptly approving all my other non-critical comments elsewhere. While I agree with the overall sentiment, this article is all over the place. Too many either irrelevant or straight up false equivalencies to list out.
