@h4nn4h: 1. Put the Windows 7 installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.

@cam11: I can second that!

@TheFu: Your right again. The code has to be built upon the x64 bit instruction set to take advantage of the multiple cores. Otherwise a x32 bit software on a x64 system would still perform the same as on a x32 system?

@TheFu: Wow, I didn't think x64 architecture was that old. (Sorry don't mean to make you feel old.) I've always been curious as to which virtual software you are running and on what hardware? I'm assuming you are doing this for work, but wondering what do you have at home? And I have always enjoyed reading your

@FermentedDischarge: Thats seems like a benefit to me. Also with Firefox installed running multiple add-ons that can address beyond the 4Gb memory space, how can you see that not being a benefit?

@willm.wade: I have to agree! Flash in x64 Ubuntu is great.

@Oneshot417: Yes you would benefit from a x64 bit OS. If your running a x32 bit now look at your system properties and see how much ram it shows.

@YashGauzer: A x32bit proc will still handle the commands that is received, but a x64 bit can send the commands to a different core. Think of a single core proc as a cup with one hole in the bottom. You have four pitchers of water pouring into that cup. All the water comes out the same hole. Now a multi core proc cup

Being in the military in my 20's, our best hangover fix was the, "hair of the dog". Get up down a icy brew and go run 2-4 miles. Always worked!

@anonymous: When a browser can offload instructions to multiple cpu threads and have more ram to access cache. Browsing would be faster. Cached pages would have more ram in which they would be stored.

Great post!! I always try to explain this to my non-techy friends. Had a friend who recently purchased 8Gb of ram for his pc and already had a 1Gb video card and for the life of him couldn't figure out why XP x32 wouldn't show all 8Gb in the system properties.

@Ellimistx99: Here's a few links that might help.

I've just received 15 invites too give away. First come first serve. I'll post back went sent.

Now if you could walk around with it on and it would recharge like a kinetic watch I would be sold.

@conordml: Display under the desk? Are you talking about the reflection?

@Matt Stratton: Sharepoint 2010 is in the beta. They will probably do a RC like they did Windows 7.

@Kyang: Yep, you are correct it is an option in 2007. Dang! I just never thought about changing it using XP.

One feature that I found was in "options" you can change the color scheme.
