@helikyler: Same here. Downloaded is twice.

Here's the link to see what it adds to the release. Looks very promising.

I am so getting fired! Thanks Monty!!!!

@GiPiKay: Should run quite well. Have it running on an old Dell Pentium 4 and 1gb ram and is just as fast as XP, maybe even faster.

Yes, been running 7 and really loving it. Great on old Dell P4 3.0 and 1gb ram. And on newer dell laptop. Beta is very very stable.

Green Demon Link:

The Green Demon has a Version that was fixed already(new taskbar, no evalution watermark in the corner).

@ShabaliniPen?lop: Haven't found any yet. Only problem I've found is it can't see my XP shares. Im using it on a Dell 1520 Laptop with 1.8 C2D, 2gigram, Nvidia 8600M gt and it smokes vista in boot up and shutdown. Also it feels much snappier. Well worth a try.

@paxis: If you were part of the Vista RC1 Beta program back in 2006 and held on to you key for activation. You can use that key to activate 7 Beta. I have been using the beta for a few days and man I'm impressed with it. I believe this beta is 100 times more stable then Vista RTF. Everything just seems to move faster

@bnosach: @aeronaut: Yeah Thanks for the explanation. Was wondering myself.

@izzy9985: Wondering the same thing.

Been doing the onion trick for years. But generally use a wire brush first, then use the onion. Also make sure the grill is hot first.

@vaf151 What kind of hardware are you running? Curious because I'm getting ready to build one myself.

Also, very few if any restart's of Vista. Agree with jsmorley. Nice addition!

Been running Vista x64 Ultimate on both desktop and laptop since RC1. Only problems were drivers as stated before. But after doing some research, everything is smooth. The compatibility mode for 98/2k/XP programs works great! Many of the problems I have encountered with customers is running old programs/games on
