Exactly, I'm thinking it's a possibility that he picked up a clue during cleanup based on info on Walt he may have had before.

I didn't think it was heavy-handed as much as very dark humor, and it would by nature have to be broad to come across as humor at all. The scene turns to horror pretty quickly, of course, because that's just how Breaking Bad rolls.

I feel the same way about half the time, but the other half I think that wandering off after everything is finally over, knowing death will be in his immediate future (like in the 1949 movie DOA) is another plausible ending.

Not just Scarface references, but actual Scarface in the show? VINCE GILLIGAN, YOU ARE SO CHEEKY.

You're not watching the show wrong, though I notice some will try to tell you that. Different people will pick different things out of the show to relate to.  Some people love the humor, and yes there were overt jokes about "Franch" and such which were funny, but it was also stressful and upsetting. All of those are

I know there are nearly 2K replies right now and that is kind of daunting, but if you read them you'll see others have indeed suspected Hank knows Walt is involved. As for not seeing "any of that on the screen," hopefully you mean you simply disagree with me; if you mean you literally did not hear Walt Jr. tell his

No, actually, I'm not "letting" my knowledge of the facts affect what I think the characters know. I understand how fiction works, and I am fully aware that the audience POV does not usually match what any character knows.

There is definitely some Gray Matter reference going on here, simply because Lydia looked so much like Gretchen. Also, Lydia's cluelessness about real world issues may have been a put-on, but reminded me of Gretchen's wide-eyed cluelessness when Walt was trying to explain to her just how awful it was to be ostracized

Walt's face coming into frame at the very end was so sinister, but it also felt iconic and reminiscent of something. Apocalypse Now, maybe? I honestly can't put my finger on it, but there is something specific that his creepy bald head coming out of the dark like that reminds me of.

I've always thought that Mike might know. Wasn't Mike already following Walt for Gus' background check by then? Mike was certainly the guy who came in to do cleanup after Jesse woke up and found Jane dead, so perhaps he realized Walt sneaking in the night before plus Jane ending up dead that morning equals Walt is
