Yeah, that’s a quirk of the fandom - Once you get past the OWO fluffy exterior, there is some serious stuff lurking. Especially in anime/manga.

I am disappointed at the lack of Jack in the Box love for their chicken sandwiches. I realize that they’re largely West Coast, but a lot of the others on the list are regional as well.

Hi, furry here. The ‘animal in human body’ sorts are ‘otherkin’, and while under the furry umbrella*, they’re a small number, and not ‘mainstream furry’ by any stretch. They just get a disproportionate amount of attention. 

Worth reminding the youngsters in the audience that the term ‘computer bug’ comes from back when they were room-sized electromechanical beasts, and a moth got caught in one of the relays.
