They tweaked melee awhile back. It is mostly sidegrade - it works *differently* now. Power attacks have replaced chanelling, fast melee is back, blocking is automatic IF you have your weapon out, that sort of thing. Much more fluid and intuitive, so an upgrade to the player QOL experience.

The only downside is that the high-level players are often very VERY fast. I know when I’m running my Nezha (fast and shielded) or Inaros (tanky AF), I will often just run right past entire hordes of enemies towards the objective, because shooting slows you down... Learn to MOVE.

Might it be possible to have a switch in our preferences tab, to ‘Always Show Latest’? Because I’m gonna be honest, the layout redesigns really aren’t doing it for me.

Hydroid is a fun frame. Good CC, and ALL his abilities do knockdown of some flavor. The Athodai is a fun gun, too. Only downside is the small ammo reserve - make those shots count!

Speaking as soemone who’s sunk over 7600 hours into the game.. it’s grindy as fuck... but at the same time, it’s entertaining. You may get fustrated trying to get the last rare piece for a shiny new weapon... but okay, let’s put that on the back burner for a while, go and do some other missions for a while.
