Is it me, or have Merlyn and Dhark become a right pair of sassy bitches in Legends?
Is it me, or have Merlyn and Dhark become a right pair of sassy bitches in Legends?
Did anyone predict the twist that Westworld's armed security teams are hosts with difficulty set at beginner?
I can never work out how I feel about all this. It can't be easy being thrust into the spotlight at such a young age and grow up surrounded by sycophants, never really know who's genuine and who's just using you for what they can get. I imagine it's very islotating and would make one very paranoid. If he was sexually…
I was glad to read this news. This album meant so much to in my late teens. I never knew it was cool or contrary to like it though. Most of my friends in my small town in North West England that heard it at least liked it.
Yeah I was going to say the same. We don't know what it actually does yet but it does seem to have turned everyone affected by it agains their allies. Maybe the mist/ghost thing has plans the May can put in motion so she doesn't want to reveal herself at this time.
I hadn't seen any promotion before watching these episodes so I didn't spend any time considering who might die until I was watching. That made a few of the red herring scenes really quite tense for me. Killing Fitz would be ridiculous, but it wouldn't be the first time a tv show has done something stupid, so both…
Bring them back onto SHIELD. They were an asset to that show but as part of a team. I had no idea how they were going to work. I feel like they saw it as a Mr and Mrs Smith thing (although if a modern series of that would work, someone would have done it) but I never got the impression there was an idea beyond 'These…
I'm gutted about this. Peggy Atwell and James D'arcy had fantastic chemistry. Their interraction was an geniune (and I can't stress this enough) joy to watch. They flit between drama and comedy with the grace of Hollywood's golden age. The way it embraced the old school Hollywood aesthetic (this show seamlessly worked…
I think the death of Andy was a bit weirdly done. The editing seemed really abrupt. I expected one of them to say 'I'm sorry' or express some regret. Or Andy to go out goading John. It also didn't help that it was the THIRD TIME THIS EPISODE that John had held a gun on him and considered shooting.
This episode did serve to remind me how glad I am they killed off Carter Hall. I don't know if it said it in the character description, but his choice to play that part like a creepy manipulative sex pest always unsettled me.
Ahhh well. They sort of managed to make my opinion of Laurel more positive so maybe they can switch me back on Felicity.
I'm pretty sure that, if it has to be a main character who's dead in the flash forward, I want it to be Felicity. I loved her when she first came into it but I've done a complete 180. They let her cutsey one liner thing get way out of control and the way she talks like she's holding in hiccups whenever she has to be…
I'm sure it's been said but Agent Terry Genesis.
'I can't believe Jarvis' 'I have no desire to spend the rest of time as a disembodied voice.' didn't make the memorable quotes bit.
I'm not saying fridge Felicity by the way. Just maybe have her become more occupied with running Palmer's company so she's not as present in the arrow cave, then maybe phase her back in with the kooky stuff toned down. Also keep her away from having to give Oliver a stern telling off because of the unconvincing…
I don't think Felicity is going to be dead because the show has made a big effort to distance itself tonally from last year and have Oliver be a more optimistic character. It's hard to see him keeping that up if his fiance has been shot dead by a man he called out, not as Arrow, but as Oliver Queen. How would the…
I never warmed to the character of Rosalind like the reviewer, so I wasn't sad or shocked to see her go and quite enjoyed the episode. I don't know what it was, I think it's that she just seemed more like a smart arsed office manager than someone in any way capable of running anything outside of a call centre customer…
I suppose the way she covered up for people she knew to be paedophiles was pretty cloak and dagger if that's what you mean?
As a Brit, I have to say that anyone that admires Margaret Thatcher is without doubt evil evil evil evil evil and can no way be as compassionate as Rosalind Price makes herself out to be in this episode. After that detail, if she doesn't turn out to be an absolute monster, I will no longer be able to suspend my…
