She already has at least one film she’s signed onto with a female writer/director coming up (She Came To Me with Rebecca Miller), so there’s no reason to think she’s not…

I don’t know how I feel about this. While I 100% agree that female directors need more representation in Hollywood, this feels to me like the same logic behind the “I’m only going to read female authors” crowd. It feels like a smug, self-congratulatory gesture.

I know they feel the need to go off with a bang each season but this felt too much. It was as if they were trying to cram every horrible Trump headline into one story.

It had everything you wanted: hate crime, rape, murder, gay refugee, undocumented immigrants, red necks.
