Southwest is rarely the cheapest airline whenever I’m looking to book. I have no beef against them but whenever anybody brings them up as super cheap I’m like whaaa?

But most other airlines give you an assigned seat, so you know what you’re getting (American will let you dick around with your location on the plane on their app, if there are other seats). Southwest is a free-for-all.

A guy I work with has a daughter who works in Southwest’s corporate office and raves about them any chance he gets. I think the only scandal they have is they offer you a ride somewhere and as little else as possible, which I’m generally cool with.

This was my thought as well. I also appreciate their regular people boarding process and lack of Elite Business, Business, Diamond Customers, Emerald Group, Sapphire Club, Whateverthefuckelse. The few times I’ve flown another airline I’ve always thought, “So literally everyone gets on this plane before me?”
