So... same time next week?

Midsommar would have to be the most overrated horror movie of the past few decades. Great start that pisses everything away.

I kind of find this to be a minor nitpick personally. Most of the Phase 4 movies barely reference the shows, if at all. And the ones that do, you can easily figure out what is going on by watching a short YouTube primer or asking a friend for a one to two sentence summation like “Wanda went crazy from grief after

This kind of thing makes me genuinely sad about where the business of cinema has taken the medium. This is not about art or creativity or storytelling, it’s just about cash.

Ha, I came to this article and as soon as I saw “three part final season” I immediately scrolled down to make an AoT joke. Beat to the punch, I guess. Man, I’m still amazed that show actually ended. I fully expected to be watching The Final Season: The Final Chapters: Special 3: The Quickening in 2025.

A THREE-PART season?  The fuck?

Goddamn I’m so glad to see love towards “Certified”

The whole “key quest” started a little shaky, but peaked phenomenally. Josh’s house party and the “Under Pressure” sequence was in there. “Life in a Day” was one of the best one hour episodes of the year - of any and all shows going at the time.

“Beebo the God of War” ep9 season 3, Legends of Tomorrow.

funny you say that; while the characters represent the nadir of the show prepping to sustain itself for endless seasons, I think the actual Nikki and Paolo episode is a lot of fun and very indicative of the course correction in the back half of S3.

Some of my picks for a great S3:

I’ll buy it (thought my personal fave of Lost is ‘The Constant’ and that’s in fourth season).

The Simpson’s third season is the best.

I agree - while Remedial Chaos Theory might be Community’s best episode, I think Season 2 has an incredible run of episodes that edge it out above Season 3 for me. (That said, 1-3 of Community is peak single-cam sitcom greatness). And I think Lost never beat season 1, when all the mysteries actually felt like they

I’m pretty ick about Rogue/Magneto myself given the age difference (knowing there’s ton of precedent for it in the comics doesn’t make it better) and I was worried her only thing this season would be the love triangle. And wow has that not been the case, and I’m so, so happy about where it’s taken her.

I appreciate parts of some of the movies, and Days of Future Past probably has the most parts I like, but I really don’t like how most of the cast is just there to do things and they don’t really even establish what the powers are for the background mutants. They just wanna be like “Warpath is there! And also Bishop!

Well then they have no excuse. Definitely could have gave a few story beats a moment to breath

As a Rogue fan, I have spent decades now trying to explain to non-fans why I love the character and no, that Fox movie version is nothing at all like what she is in the comics. And it is just SO REFRESHING to have such a wonderful take on her character. I am loving what this show has done for her so far.

the X verse has also been pretty great

All hail the new overlords, who didn’t make this a goddamn slideshow!
