MK 10 was the last one I could really get into - it heightened the stuff from MK 9 by leaning into the silliness (Cassie Cage’s “Selfie” fatality is probably my favorite of the series, partly because the violence is so graphic in such a silly context). MK 11 felt like a retread with worse characters.

I always laugh the hardest at Pierce. His miaowing on that season 1 Halloween episode always have me ROTFLMFAO.

THE AV CLUB

Triple A games are going down the toilet.  It felt pleasantly retro when RE8 launched last year and didn't require a day one patch to work.  God that's sad.

There’s a lot to look forward to, especially if we get Donald and Yvette back. I’d legitimately enjoy seeing Chevy back on it again, too. I understand the BTS BS made it really hard and he probably doesn’t want to be remembered as Pierce Hawthorne (even if he did played the part funnier than anyone else probably could

Well, excuuuuuuuuuse me, princess!

Pretty cynical, condescending stuff.

I wonder why they never made action figures for that movie. And playsets! “Buy the Schindler’s List Arms Factory playset! Make dud shells to foil the Nazis!”

You’re correct, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for a notional wall of separation between the artistic concerns and the financial ones. No one involved with Schindler’s List ever said “This’ll rake in the big bucks!” (Well, probably not.)

Everyone wants to know. They’re not saying.

That is fucking cool. How in the hell did they do that?

It looks fine. Also I have no fucking clue why Pratt is apparently some combination of Pol Pot,Hitler, and Trump like seriously never got the OTT hate

What the fuck are you talking about? It’s not like the Disney animated originals are in black and white. What’s to “update”??? How would a kid know that they’re “old movies”? Because they're cel animation instead of CG? This is such a peculiar argument.

“Wario, if he appears, may fart.”- The last words of Queen Elizabeth the Second.

This episode of She-Hulk was the best of the bunch and would have been a great episode if they cut everything from insulting the viewer’s intelligencea by verbalizing the walk of shame joke through the end.

You should watch the original Swedish film.

Why not just watch either the 2008 original film or the also worthwhile 2010 American remake film instead? Much less of a time investment than trying to commit to a full TV season, plus there’s a 99% chance that this series will pale in comparison to either of the movies.

It’s an appletini. I recognized it when I saw it, but if you don’t have the foreknowledge of knowing that a bright green drink in a martini glass on TV is almost always an appletini, you could have relied upon the dialogue, which hinted at it when Jen said “An appletini? Cute.”

Not a paid actor. I’ve been very critical of the show (not on Twitter, which causes cancer). This was an unusually good episode that’s not indicative of the rest of the show, which has mostly been unfunny thing that doesn’t matter of the week. I always thought Tatiana Maslany deserved better material and I finally got

this review really doesn’t tell me if it’s good or not
